SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread

Hi Ron,
as I promised, jet AB and Speedbrake shudders effects are re-designed and under beta testing now. -
I think I understand what you are saying, afterburner is not a smooth rumble like other “sounds” but an on-off-on-off thing, a low pitched “beep” so to speak. You aren’t talking about a change in pitch (which is what I thought you were saying when I read this), just a change in cycle, correct?
Put one of transducers that I had pulled from one of the Interactors on my seat and it is working great! Only downside to these is that they are “loud” transducers that still put out a lot of audible noise on top of the vibrations, long term I may look at a Jetseat if I could get one over here.
Andre, this rocks! Thank you very much!
You are welcome, Matt

Gents, SimShaker update 1.1.1.6 is published

Thanks Andre! I like new afterburner effects.
One question, which slider do I change to adjust the transonic effect (Airspeed Mach .95-1.05)? It both releases, it is stronger than I would like. Thanks again!

We do not have transonic effect implemented. I wonder how do you feel that? -

We do not have transonic effect implemented. I wonder how do you feel that?I think it’s the sounds BMS generates when you fly over the max allowed speed limit for your given configuration.
In the 4.33 BMS load out screen you now also see max G and also max speed for that configuration. I noticed when I go over that max speed, it starts making sounds that could very wel be something that generates feedback? -

In the new load out screen in BMS 4.33 you can see the maximum amount of G and the maximum allowed speed you may fly, based on your aircraft configuration.
A clean jet for example can pull to 9G, whereas a 2 slammer 2 heater 2 wing tanks 2 GBU54s will allow max 5.5Gs according to the load out screen.
Same goes for max allowed speed. Going max 1.4 with wing tanks and bombs is not good for the airframe.
So when you exceed that max allowed speed, I hear a certain rumbling sound in my headset, simulating stress on the airframe of the jet.
Maybe that is what Snake122 is meaning with the effect he has when going over +/- .95? -

I agree I think it is a Flap movement. I looked into the flight model documentation but it doesn’t have a flap schedule chart. But it is very regular, only during the .95-1.05 Mach range.
So to lessen this, turn the gain down on TE Flaps?

Yes, I think so.
-
Yes, TE Flap movement is what was happening Mach .95-1.05!
-
I love it!!!.
It sure would be nice though, to get the Payload Release/Missile Launch effect to work for the Jettison weapons in BMS. Its a conspicuously missing effect for BMS.
My only small quibble.

Hi Michael,
thanks for your feedback -
Ordered a seat with Andre. All I can say is, that’s an example of customer service. Always fast & useful replies, friendly and helping.
Have the sim shaker working for 2 days now, awesome! -
Thanks for the feedback
-
Gents, have you tried SimShaker with other BMS planes (not F-16)?
Please share your experience. -
Only have 1 sim on my entire pc, so can’t help you there.
Small feature request. The ground bumps now seem very linear. I can predict the next bump, only come faster when ground speed increases but interval seems steady. Maybe a more random bump feeling would make it a bit more realistic. -

hm… but we have regular size plates on runways and steady interval between junctions.
