Saitek X-52 Profile
-
We need new profile asap lol
-
from the looks of things we are better off just buying a x52 pro version lol. seems more people use those than the normal version. I was able to map most of the things i needed in game itself to buttons, but of course i dont have use of my pinky key for shift to allow me to use my hat keys for other binds. I know it can be done i just for the life of me can not figure out DX.
-
Best profile ever, please, please please update for 4.33 a just spent the weekend scratching my head trying to work out why it no longer works
-
i download you profile
but i can see like on smarttechnolojyhow can i see all buttons
-
thats all the buttons that are in the profile. Everything else is done in the keyfile. So if you want to see you will have to open it in the key file
-
KesMonkeyās profile is awesome and in honor of his wonderful work on this profile that I am so grateful for, I have updated it for the 4.33 Basic Key File. Follow all the directions that KeysMonkey included in his profile and simply add these files instead of his key file and pr0. It is for TrackIR. I added cockpit sounds to most of the callbacks and changed a few buttons.
Here are the button changes:-Fire A which was Cycle AA Hardpoints is now Paddle Switch. If someone comes up with a better function please let me know.
-T1 is toggle gear. T1 Shifted is Eject.
-T2 is CAT toggle. T2 Shifted is Wheel Brakes. I got rid of parking brake because I found that if you use pinky switch to shift then apply brakes and release pinky shift while holding the wheel brake the brakes will stay on even after releasing all buttons. Please test and let me know and I can help you add a parking break if you like.
-T3 is āWaypointā or Steerpoint increase. T3 Shifted is TGP zoom in.
-T4 is Steerpoint decrease. T4 Shifted is TGP zoom out.
-T5 is 3D cockpit. T5 Shifted is Look Closer.
-T6 is Weapon View. T6 Shifted is Combat Autopilot.Let me know if you think something needs to be added or moved around.
There are also a couple outdated callbacks that were changed or removed or maybe a new one was added, so I matched that function with the new cockpit callback.
I would appreciate it if people took the time to check if the sounds I added match the cockpit sounds, so if you feel like checking to see if the callback makes the same sound as the mouse click in the cockpit I would like to hear back about them.I take no credit for this profile I only updated it. All the credit for the profile goes to KeysMonkey. I would also like to thank Snelle for his awesome work on the X55 profile which helped me to learn a lot.
I hope this stokes some people up as much as KeyMonkeyās original profile did for me.
Also, if someone wants to give me the DX numbers for a X52 Pro I could try to modify this to work for it.
Thanks again KeysMonkey!
Update:
-The CAT toggle was mapped wrong. It is now fixed.
-The FCR range inc./dec. was mapped wrong. It is now fixed.
-The mouse nipple was not working and it cannot be mapped to a shifted button so I mapped it back to F8,F9,F10,F11. Be aware of TrackIR buttons as you were with the original profile.
-I had to change the Falcon BMS X52.pr0 file to get everything to match with the 4.33 key file and work correctly.
-I tested everything and it all functions as advertised. Please let me know if you find anything wrong or have any suggestions. -
Thanks a lot for sharing your work, Viking. And to mention KesMonkey too, of course!
With best regards to you both,
-
For sure Jackal. I hope it is to your liking. Let me know if you have any suggestions to change it.
-
I want to bind a callback key to my stick so I can zoom the tgp Can anyone tell what that is as the zoom donāt work in my jet
thanks
-
The profile I posted has TGP zoom in and out. T3 shifted and T4 shifted.
SimRangeKnobUp 266 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
SimRangeKnobDown 267 -1 -2 0 0x0 0If you want to change the button you change the numbers 266 and 267. When shifted you add 256 to the DX button.

Good morning.
I have a problem with this wonderful profile.
I gained some MFD trhustmaster , I have installed and do not work
with the profile .
I lose X52 commands and I get on the MFD .
For example , VHF and UHF now have in the LMFD OSB20 and GAIN UPIām going crazy trying to find the solution.
Thank you very much

If I understand you correctly, the profile works fine for you without the MFDs plugged in but when you plug the MFDs in the VHF and UHF from the POV hat on the throttle moves to the LMFD OSB20 and GAIN UP. I am not familiar with MFDs. Does an MFD use DX callbacks or do you assign it a keyboard button? Please tell me what other buttons have problems. The MFDs should not interfere with the DX callbacks unless the MFDs use the same callback or the MFD is assigned to the same key as the callback. Please tell me how you map your MFDs.

Is there a Non-TrackIR version for 4.3.3? Or is it fairly simple just to remove the track IR bits?
-
Can someone give me a link to a good profile for the bms 4.32 that uses the track ir.
Total newbie here.
I have 4.32 but I do not have 4.33 yet. I just recently bought a track ir and I have the X52 non pro. I just tried the game last night with a profile I found online, I think it was Ironman or something, but the thrust did not work, and after switching views the track ir stopped working.
I canāt wait to learn how to fly this thing, I have had the game for years, and with a broken ankle and time on my hands, I figure that this time I will do all those training missions and fly this baby.

I can get you set up. The only thing we need to do is remap the tracker center and reload buttons then add any POV controls you would like. Let me know what you want and where and we can make it happen.

The OP post and download is for 4.32 with trackir. Just follow KesMonkeys instructions and use all of his files.

Thanks for the help. Maybe its just because Ive been grading papers for 9 hours, but I think Iām missing something here. Where do I download those files? They are not available to download on that first page. Or is the download link taken down because of the negotiations going on? Or am I just missing something obvious because its too late and Iām too tired?
Edit,
The answer was that I was too tired. I found it, lol. Thanks!

Ok Im running into a few problems problems.
First the throttle doesnāt work for airspeed, instead the precision slider controls air speed.
Second, I have windows 8.1 and I could not find the x52 properties menu to make the changes needed to enable mapping of the clutch button.
Third I could not find the line set g_bPilotEntertainment 0 so I could change it to 1 to enable winamp controls (which I have no idea what that means yet.) I did use word pad and I did look through falcon bms.cfg files.
Thanks for having patience with someone not familiar with all of this stuff.

Assign your axes in the SETUP ā> ADVANCED screens:
After you plug in your X52, right click on the system tray Saitek Icon to open the Saitek Control Panel, like so:
