Mouse cursor for x and y axis on warthog not centering and going all over the place.
-
Anyone else having this issue? Seems that it started happening on 4.33 and 4.34 now when I calibrate them. Seems to go to one side or the other and not center
-
anyone?

Had a similar issue (different controller). Had to set a deadzone in the BMS UI for those axes.
-
Mine does it too. I set curves in TARGET to erase them then no deadzone in BMS but of course any combination can work. X/Y on throttle is not the highest quality device.
-
Interesting thanks. I rather not use the Target software as it was not very useful in falcon anyway. I never had a problem with the X and Y microstick until about a month ago. Used to work great but not it’s going all over the place and switches to the right real fast.

Lots of dead zone.
And when I did use Target in Win7, Lower saturation and some curve.

I disagree with that comment. Prior to 4.34 TARGET was the easiest way to get the cutoff to work using Morphine’s engine code section. Also using TARGET I get to use the trim switch as an actual trim switch as well as using the same code to be able to use two of the standard switches to adjust FCR antenna elevation.
It isn’t mandatory by any stretch of the imagination but it is also FAR from not very useful.

This might be an option if all else fails.

Thanks Bullshotc. One of my fellow squad mates showed me this yesterday. Seems to be a good alternative and may be the way to go. Looks like more won’t be made until July though.

Have u tried on the link I sent u there is Install Instructions where u can download Throttle Warthog Calibration (V1.07) u might wont to try re-calibrating your mini stick if u haven’t all ready
-
I’ll try that calibration tool when I get home tonight. thanks.

I have been repairing and replacing WartHog Sw & Hats for a few years now.
The hat on the stick has lost its lateral left so that’s on the list for a attempted repair.

Hello Shadow, how are you?
I think I have some STL files.
Is it Warthog hat ??
I’ll see if I have MP for you !!
Best Regards !!

Crap that calibration tool messed up the whole throttle. Now when I move my throttle it instantly goes to full afterburn and when I pull back it goes to idle. Same with slider. No smooth in between. How do I fix that now??
-
same thing happened to me, has anyone managed to get the throttle calibrated?

Calibrate again. Make sure to move each axis through the entire range as prompted.

If you’re talking about the micro stick, well, I think it’s a piece of crap. I program that warthog with DirectX with this beautiful piece of software called Alternate Launcher. My experience with Target is kind of buggy buggy. With Alternate Launcher you can do incredible things with switch on, switch off, shift. You have 32 DirectXs on the throttle, + 4 of point of view./Coolie hat/which can be manipulated by JoytoKey / to keypresses for targeting cursor instead of the micro Cursor/ switch. You must run joy to key as administrator.
I have replaced the micro switch and have used Thrust Masters calibration tool. The replacement was about as bad as the one I was replacing. That’s a shame, bad choice TM.

I had this issue a while back… I sprayed the controller with electrical contact cleaner and it fixed the problem. It may not be software related and more hardware related?

This might be an option if all else fails.
https://deltasimelectronics.com/This is a very good solution… No soldering… Unscrew, unplug and bin the original… Plug in Delta Sim replacement, screw back up… recal…
Have never looked back…

…bummer. I would have bought one of the force sticks. Or two…
