I have a TM warthog. I Use Alternate Launcher using DirectX. With alternate launcher You can program your toggle switches on your throttle for off and on, and more. I Use Joy to Key run as administrator to make use of the point of view Hat on the throttle. Very simple to use.

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
I notice in game the Keyfile is still called BMS Full, does your Keyfile override/overwrite it? There were a couple keys that I set in your launcher that didn’t show up so I reassigned them in game, but 95% matched (for what I have on A CH Fighterstick).
It doesn’t rewrite it unless you wanted to augment. Mostly let you use the BMS full to its greatest potential. Alternate launcher is the software that should’ve been developed years ago and puts the stock GUI obsolete. The stock GUI keys programmer is incapable of translating everything that alternate launcher can do. You will have to go into the 3-D to see it work and to check it.

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
I Have a Warthog and I use the paddle switch for the shift, then I use the button on the throttle plate for the paddle switch. I have small hands. I Use Joy to Key to have the Cooley four-way send key presses. Run Joy to key as administrator.

RE: Mouse cursor for x and y axis on warthog not centering and going all over the place.
Anyone else having this issue? Seems that it started happening on 4.33 and 4.34 now when I calibrate them. Seems to go to one side or the other and not center
If you’re talking about the micro stick, well, I think it’s a piece of crap. I program that warthog with DirectX with this beautiful piece of software called Alternate Launcher. My experience with Target is kind of buggy buggy. With Alternate Launcher you can do incredible things with switch on, switch off, shift. You have 32 DirectXs on the throttle, + 4 of point of view./Coolie hat/which can be manipulated by JoytoKey / to keypresses for targeting cursor instead of the micro Cursor/ switch. You must run joy to key as administrator.
I have replaced the micro switch and have used Thrust Masters calibration tool. The replacement was about as bad as the one I was replacing. That’s a shame, bad choice TM.

RE: Coolie hat inop
My warthog is set up completely DirectX with all the frills available with Alternate Launcher. For the coolie hat I use joy to key to send keypresses and it’s easy to use.

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
Thank you, I will try this, although I don’t intend to use a four-way hat switch. I will try this with the EAC switch on the warthog throttle.
I apologize, I completely blew over your instructions. You can do incredible things with your software and it works! I just set the F-16 autopilot up completely with the autopilot toggle on the warthog. I use the autopilot on button, as the paddle switch, works great. I use the paddle switch as shift/modifier because I have short stubby small hands…As far as I am concerned, you made falcon history.

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
I can’t thank you enough for your work on this project. I’ve tried in years past to manufacture a shifted state for that warthog throttle, never could. This works like magic, after I realized you must install your software on a vanilla BMS.
Could you explain in greater detail how to set up a simple on/ off switch with the two callbacks, Jammer on/Jammer off. I think I’ve tried every combination, but probably not. I must be missing something, help please.
I would really like to be able use this instead of throwing the toggle switch twice for off and on.

RE: Why Virtual Reality for BMS would improve the experience by order of magnitudes.
It’s kind of hard to explain, but a wraparound 3-D and extremely accurate head tracking makeup for any shortcomings. The first time I used a Dev Kit it about took my breath away. I now have a CV1 and in DCS everything is very flyable and the situational awareness is so much better. Having your head view move true to life is not only natural. It is so much more revealing and accurate.
But, my first love Is Falcon 4.0 and I would love to fly it in virtual reality. People talk of the complexity of Falcon, but there are so many workarounds and also so many people that is spent a hell of a lot of money on building cockpits. My hope is that the two sides can merge.
