Three question about TGP.
-
hi everyone, it is my first time to post things right here.
it is all about TGP.
1. how can i not locking on a steerpoint once i lock a steerpoint? The way i try to do is recon on the pre-flight map , mark tgt as steerpoint. But once i insert the steer point and the tgp lock onto it, i just cant move it to other place.
2. how to control the slew speed of tgp?
sometime i feel it is too fast, sometime too slow.
3. how to centre the camara?
once i finish a attack, i fly past a tgt. and now my new tgt is infront of me somewhere. how can i centre my camera again and become usable(movable)
i understand there is a button called sp which i pressed will centre my camera but not movable.
thanks for the help

1. TMS down to break your area or point track and you can slew to something else.
2. You cannot change slew speed unfortunatly.
3. You would have to TMS down again to break your current area or point track. You can then Cursor Zero to return your tgp to the last STP of interest. You can then slew to wherever you want. Snowplow is on your FCR, and yes your TGP will slave to your fcr until you SOI to your TGP. After changing to SP you have to TMS up to start slewing with your FCR, and then you would have to SOI to your TGP and TMS up to ground stablilize to find targets. -
Slew speed is very fast when you do not have an area or point track. There are only two modes. Fast=no track. slower=point or area track.

thanks again, i will try that tonite

Slew speed is also fast when you have the FCR as SOI but are looking at the TGP.
Make sure the TGP is SOI if you wish to move it directly.
-
Slew rates also change with WIDE / NARROW FOV and magnification

your point 3: learn about the CZ (cursor zero) function. It will reset to the steerpoint as opposed to stay on your SPI. BMS manual ‘TO-BMS1F-16CM-34-1-1’ page 144.

isn’t the slew speed also configurable in the Falcon settings? (I mean the settings you can open with the falcon start launcher, to change multiple things like linear/point shadow, rain details, etc)
