Interdiction

They work with laser much better than GBU-12. They can even remember laser spot position when you cease lasing.
You can even change laser code inflight.
Just remember to enable laser guidance in second control page. By default its disabled!!! So when you drop LJDAM with default settings it will behave like normal JDAM. -
I didn’t know you had to enable laser guidance, what is the name of the option or acronym ??

Go to SMS page 2
It’s around OSB 17Sorry go from old memory.
Look in the -34 manual for details.

It’s aight I ran a drill earlier and I figured it out…now the CBU-97 does not act according to its manufactured use in BMS is there a way to change its operation ?? Because that is another great interdiction weapon that would serve great in the battlefield.
-
CBU-105 is the WCMD version of CBU-97
-
I couldnt find the GBU-54 LJDAM at the 4.331 tactical reference
-
under falcon documents
C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Docs\Falcon BMS Manuals
TO-BMS1F-16CM-34-1-1.pdf page 193 -
Yes, but still is strange not to found it at the ingame tactical reference

Yes, but still is strange not to found it at the ingame tactical reference
Why?
The in-game TacRef is fairly old and, as I understand it from posts here, more-or-less not maintained/up to date.
-
I understand that about the 105 and the 97 but still, is there a way to make it to where the CBU-97 homes in on armored targets like its supposed to ??
-
You mean the IR puck things on parachutes? …you could try begging?
-
Ya its a smart weapon but I would love to see it implemented in bms if possible
-
You can even change laser code inflight.
Currently not working due to a reported bug unfortunately.
-
Damn I hope they fix this bug because if they do I know that I’ll be using that weapon more than laser guided munitions and mavericks. I hope they fix the problem with mavericks to because I’m sure everyone knows by now you can beat them to the target after launch no matter how fast you are going.

I have discontinued using CBU97s. Even though I pickle nicely above a cluster of vehicles, I kill two targets with one container at most, the rest of the bomblets carpeting the sand around the intended targets, regardless of HOF.
I have since turned to Mk20D. More on the wing and more effectiveness. -

87s are for softer targets, IIRC.
SAMs, mechanized battalions etc. A tank however will laugh at an 87, unless maybe the cluster area is lowered down to a dozen square feet or so.
In any case, I can take 12 rockeyes vs 8 87s.Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
