YAME64 suite
-
Just bumping my question:
@-Ice:Another option then: is there a way to start the YAME suite and have it start the client automatically? And maybe even minimize the YAME suite window automatically?
Also, I would like to request a new feature: the ability to start the YAME Client vie command line parameter or via hotkey. I’d like to be able to put a button on my Helios profile that’ll start YAME and display gauges straight away. Thanks!

Need some help. My system is as follows. Win10 64, i7 6700 @ 4Ghz, GTX1060 6gb mem, 16Gb system mem, Vizio 4K UHD @ 4096x2160, ACER 27" Touchscreen @ 1920x1080. I finally got everything working using Ice’s layout as I use his Helios profile. When I say I got it working it worked sporadically. My main screen is on the left and my touchscreen is on the right. The left screen is set to x:0 y:4096 and the right is set to x:4096 y:0. After making these changes I was able to see the layout on the right screen and fly with it using regular extraction. I then went to move the guages around because the original Helios is a little different from mine and then had it fill the monitor which changed to right monitors position y: to 14. Once again it worked, however the next time I ran it it would no longer display the layout on the second monitor. So I went back in to set the right monitor y: position back to y:0 and no joy, setting it back to y:14 brought it back once. Since then it will no longer display on the right monitor.
Obviously many people have it working and I’ve had hell with Helios as well so I’m sure it’s my system causing the issues but I have no clue how to resolve it. Any help is appreciated.Update: I’ve got it working but I have to apply all the gauges before I can adjust them and after that I have to apply them again before I run the client. If I shut it off I have to apply them again upon start up. Are the layouts ever saved? Can I make the file read only?
It looks great though! -

It looks great though! Can you check if anything is saved to the xml file in your YAME/conf folder when you hit the apply button?
Try running YAME as administrator. -
Very nice tool. Combined with Helios you can have good staff with very good performance. With GTX 1060 and BMS aplication maximum settings no FPS hit.

It looks great though!Wicked, before going any further, I would strongly suggest re-orienting your monitor setup so that Windows sees it as your touchscreen on the LEFT side and your big main monitor on the RIGHT side. Read more here. Then try again regarding YAME and Helios. Remember, you’ll have to Reset Monitors and adjust your main YAME client window as well.

I can’t make the .bat files to work properly. I have tried with three different .bat flies which work when i double click on them directly, but when run with YAME (normal or “run batch” modes) they don’t work. I performed a clean install, but problem persists.
I think i found a bug:
When adding an APP to the run menu, no matter what the state of the “Batch” check-mark is, the app is always added without the star. Editing the app, unchecking and then checking again the “batch” check-mark, solves the problem.
Been looking into this, 3 of us can’t reproduce. Have you tried running as admin and then doing these things?

Never tried the blk60 center before, then I saw this vid and had to try it, it looks great! Question about the keys needed to swap pages etc, since I run yame on a client pc who’s keyboard is 4 feet away from me, how I do set this up to run on my flight pc?

fixed in coming release

A request regarding the current HSI:
The HSI has the right cardinal white line obscured by the flag’s arm making it very difficult to put the RMI needle at 90° when performing an IFR right arc during an approach.fixed in next release

Included in new release: autostart client, autostart server, autostart batch run, autostart bms, auto minimize. Work in progress, autoload layout file.

I run yame64 client in same pc than BMS. I have created an Helios profile with buttons that you can see in my video. You must set the same key combinations that you assign in yame64 to the buttons created in helios and you will manage to change the Block60 central MFD without keyboard.

Very nice!! Note that the “make me coffee” feature still doesn’t work. Sometimes it comes with no milk, no sugar, or no milk and sugar! Unacceptable for the busy flight simulator enthusiast!!

Thanks but I don’t use helios, I don’t use a touch screen, just a normal flat screen with my mfd’s on top, so need a way to activating the center console pages (map, knee board etc) from my main pc. I know you can assign keys in the client but it’s no use as don’t run bms on the same pc…

Might be able to map those controls on the unused rockers on the MFD

If you have some rockers unused!!! [emoji13]

You can use gpt to send keystrokes from main PC to client PC or vice versa.
It doesn’t have anything to do with which PC is running BMS.
The only problem is that gpt is not selective, and you would send also all the keystrokes that you use for falcon callbacks.
If understood your setup correctly, you would have to run the “gpt key transmitter” on the BMS computer and the “gpt key receiver” on the pic running yame.
They are compatible. I use both, bit I use the gpt key transmitter on the opposite direction, and it’s a small app that uses almost no PC resources.

I see in your signature you have a 64bit Win 7. Are you able to run 64bit? If so, that’s recommended. Or is it running on a second 32 bit computer?
Have you tried running yame as administrator? Can you enable Windows Aero Glass and check if it happens then? -

Well, BMS only models the GAIN and BRT rockers, so you have 2 rockers on the L MFD and 2 on the R MFD that you can use.
