YAME64 suite
-
A request regarding the current HSI:
The HSI has the right cardinal white line obscured by the flag’s arm making it very difficult to put the RMI needle at 90° when performing an IFR right arc during an approach.fixed in next release
-
Another option then: is there a way to start the YAME suite and have it start the client automatically? And maybe even minimize the YAME suite window automatically?
Included in new release: autostart client, autostart server, autostart batch run, autostart bms, auto minimize. Work in progress, autoload layout file.

Never tried the blk60 center before, then I saw this vid and had to try it, it looks great! Question about the keys needed to swap pages etc, since I run yame on a client pc who’s keyboard is 4 feet away from me, how I do set this up to run on my flight pc?
I run yame64 client in same pc than BMS. I have created an Helios profile with buttons that you can see in my video. You must set the same key combinations that you assign in yame64 to the buttons created in helios and you will manage to change the Block60 central MFD without keyboard.

Very nice!! Note that the “make me coffee” feature still doesn’t work. Sometimes it comes with no milk, no sugar, or no milk and sugar! Unacceptable for the busy flight simulator enthusiast!!

Thanks but I don’t use helios, I don’t use a touch screen, just a normal flat screen with my mfd’s on top, so need a way to activating the center console pages (map, knee board etc) from my main pc. I know you can assign keys in the client but it’s no use as don’t run bms on the same pc…

Might be able to map those controls on the unused rockers on the MFD

If you have some rockers unused!!! [emoji13]

You can use gpt to send keystrokes from main PC to client PC or vice versa.
It doesn’t have anything to do with which PC is running BMS.
The only problem is that gpt is not selective, and you would send also all the keystrokes that you use for falcon callbacks.
If understood your setup correctly, you would have to run the “gpt key transmitter” on the BMS computer and the “gpt key receiver” on the pic running yame.
They are compatible. I use both, bit I use the gpt key transmitter on the opposite direction, and it’s a small app that uses almost no PC resources.

Hi, i have this problem. After the launch the ui is….…yame 32bit client
I see in your signature you have a 64bit Win 7. Are you able to run 64bit? If so, that’s recommended. Or is it running on a second 32 bit computer?
Have you tried running yame as administrator? Can you enable Windows Aero Glass and check if it happens then? -

Well, BMS only models the GAIN and BRT rockers, so you have 2 rockers on the L MFD and 2 on the R MFD that you can use.

Also read log file located in /logs/ folder under YAME installation

Sure Ice, but I use for other propuse like altimeter settings and so on.
For me it would be nice to have an extra mfd.[emoji51] -

Thanks. This folder is empty. No files inside.

Hi,
no problems at all on single PC with 2 Monitors with new version.
Problems persist only in two PC Client/Server configuration. Can`t believe, that I am the only with the problem, because I tested it on 2 other PCs with same results. I can´t find any other problems in my network.
Problem still persist and please try yourself and report. If you can`t reproduce, then I have no clue.
- client / server (2PC) works and all instruments and MFDs are exported to the other PC.
- select flight with mavericks and TGP. Switch on both on MFD.
->>>
no problems at all on single PC. Very smooth instruments and MFD updates on second monitor in 3d hook an normal extraction mode.->>>
but problems in 2 PC client/server configuration happen, if I enable “texture data” and “flight data” on client. Then I have heavy stuttering on all instruments and very bad updates in the MAV / TGP configuration. If I only enable “flight data” on client (tab “client extractions”), then good instrument updates.MFDE gives me everytime very good updates on all instruments in client/server mode. It would be cool, If I can export all MFD and instruments on the other PC too.
At the moment I only export “flight data” to client PC (3 Monitor in home built cockpit). The MFDs are still on a secondary monitor on primary PC.It would be nice, If you can take a look on this behavior. No instrument is overlapping to another monitor.
Thx for all!!

We’ll give it a try but all tests so far with networked extraction gave pretty good results here. Even when trying trainee/instructor setup where trainee was sending both flight data as MFD/DED/RWR textures from Poland to my client pc in Belgium and it was smooth enough when set to 60FPS. So when it gets smooth enough via public IP transfer, I would think it certainly would be via internal network.
Any firewall or something that might cause it? -

Any firewall or something that might cause it?…only win10 firewall/virusscan…will give it a try this evening and disable firewall on both PCs…thx

I use second monitor with mfds on it. I use all rockets and buttons with actions in BMS and all of them are used. I run also an hellios profile for setting key combinations for change B60 center mfd, as you can see in my video, for instance, change zoom, map color and son on. But I manage with mouse not a touch screen.
