YAME64 suite
-
Thanks. Figured out how to run YAME64 with BMS 32 bit.
-
-
Well, actually I am not totally sure, it just worked by starting the YAME64 client, then starting BMS 32 bit from the BMS icon. I think one must copy YAME d3d9.dll and yame_d3d.cfg to BMS/bin/x64 folder.
-
The d3d9.dll provided with YAME64 and YAME32 is not compatible with Falcon BMS 32 bit. It’s only for the 64 bit. If you want, we can build a specific dll for the 32 bit version.

I have a 64bit operating system, win 8.1 but I have to run BMS in 32bit because of problems with FreeTrack if I use 64bit.
So do I need the “specific dll for 32 bit version” if so then yes please to your kind offer.

cough!!TrackIRcough!!

After rechecking, my bin/x86 folder does NOT have a d3d9.dll file, so I am not sure why it works. I do use TrackIR, though.

the dll is only there when you use 3Dhook extraction instead of RTTexture extraction.

Hi Roccio, first of all, thank you for your excellent work. It’s wonderful, great, I have no qualifiers to describe it. I wanted to make a suggestion, if possible of course, if you could implement in your program the possibility of sending the DED to keyboards, with screen, like G15, G13, etc. It would then be super. Of course it is a constructive criticism. THANKS AGAIN MY FRIEND.

Oh Logitec G support would be amazing!
-
I think so or Logitech support, there is even an easy SDK http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/developers, the only real problem is that I don’t have any logitech device

I`m pretty sure there used to be an app/tool on the Logitech user created section that accessed falcon shared memory and displayed DED. Used it myself many years ago.
Also check out http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=3232.msg42763 (DED and PFL with Logitech G15 and Z10 displays - Software solution ) You will need to join viperpits to download. -

Of course, it’s not my call to make, but I think that launching the already existing G15 apps that work with BMS via the batch list on YAME’s run tab, is almost like YAME having G15 support.
The app to which cobalt referred is G15Viper. It works but, in my opinion, the DED displayed by Falcas AIC is more accurate than the G15Viper.

Besides, if you have an old android phone forgotten in a drawer, FalconICP is another solution. That way you can leave the display of the G15 viper free to display some other stuff like the teamSpeak plugin, which comes in quite handy.

Well, BMS is full of possibilities… Just need to find the one that suits you better…

I just love this piece of software. It’s so efficient and user-friendly. Thanks a lot for that guys.
I have a problem, though, and I’m not even sure it’s linked to Yame.
Let me explain. I have a three-screen configuration with the following display settings :
[2] [3]
[1]Screen 1 is my main screen, for BMS 4.33 U3
Screen 2 is my Helios touchscreen (also displaying Yame instruments)
Screen 3 is the screen where I display the Centre pedestal Blk 60 from Yame.
Everything runs just fine on the same computer.
In Yame, I have two windows: one called Yame, used to display several instruments on screen 2 (e.g. Mach meter, altimeter, MFD’s, etc.)
The second one (called Extension) is used to display the pedestal on screen 3.
I have defined some keyboard shortcuts for the pedestal different pages (e.g. Multiply (KB*) to go to the Map page).
If I use those shortcuts from my physical keyboard, no problem. The pedestal changes to the Map page.
But if I set the same keyboard shortcut in my Helios profile, that’s a no go.
The same occurs if I set it in my Warthog hotas profile.
It’s just as if the shortcut never arrived in the yame window. But it does when sent from the keyboard.
I know some people managed to create an Helios profile with some buttons for Yame shortcuts.
But I’m at a complete loss here.
Any ideas ?
Thanks a lot for your help.Judy
