Thrustmaster NEXT

The hobby is too niche:
Yes that’s true but that’s the reason that the product should be better we only have 3 major players / TM / ( Saitek / Logitech ) / CH / and of the bunch Logitech now has a chance to really do something big given that they have a good road map if they want to stand out. TM is a good product but expensive. CH is just out dated. ( Saitek / Logitech ) a new chance to shock the world or at least become that company with that niche product that every one will buy all they need to do is listen to what the people are saying
don’t build what you want to sell us build what we are telling we will buy and you will see that your products and your reputation will grow. -

Without Cougar update and with all remaining Cougar aging, our only solution would be this 4,000USD HOTAS.
I guess we need new F-16 sim or new commercial Falcon product to have Thrustmaster launch the successor of Cougar, but I afraid what will happen to BMS then(and also wonder will it really happen…maybe DCS:F-16 possible?).Also seems Thrustmaster going to launch there new Flagship Joysticks in 2020 but what it would be?
DCS:F-18 seems to release in a 1-2 year.My wish for Thrustmaster is this kind of F-16 Throttle with Detent rail system, with Force Sensitive SSC.
http://www.bugeyetech.com/f-16-grip-and-throttleI have emailed these folks 3-4 times, and they don’t even respond, either by their own website or via Facebook.

You mean you have emailed wraith and bugeye tech?
-
…I do happen to know that the Bugeye gear is in the $3-4K+ price region as well. These items are really aimed at the DoD marketplace…which is why they look so good.
-
Check the prices it would be nice to have that kind of tech but for that price there would be no computer to plug it into.
that’s one of the main points to consider when we ask for what we want. -
Hey gents!Let Santa handle the economics…!!:-):-):-)
-
Don’t think we need a new Cougar stick, as the Warthog stick does nicely. But an USB digital TQS would be nice, with a slap button. All Hall effect parts, no more analog pots. Maybe put some more switches, axes, buttons and maybe a LCD DED or comms readout on the base.

All Thrustmaster would need to do to thrill me is create a updated Cougar Throttle and I’d buy it immediately to use with my Warthog/F-16 stick.
In fact if Thrustmaster made a new HOTAS for the F-16 and F-18 to go along with the Warthog I’d DEFINITELY own both of them within 6 months of release. Whatever high fedelity combat sim I’m playing I crave a 1 to 1 replica HOTAS. Just can’t pay $5K for them from these DOD companies….but if I had the money to blow I would no doubt. -
+1.

I have a good idea for TM how about a contest where we the customers submit Pictures / Content for development of the next Hotas since what normally happens is we get a product and it gets picked apart with could have would have should have.
This would get them closer to building something that would make every one happy. What do you think ? -
We could all food them with our Cougar/Warthog hacks…pictures and descriptions? Maybe they’d take notice.
