Nordic Theater
-
Apologies gents - but as you know all theater work goes by Falcon weeks. If you look thru the other Nordic related threads you can see some nice stuff is coming out . . . you WILL see this theater released - not vaporware. However, we need to clean some things up in several areas. When Starrats and Chuckles are happy with the theater it will be released and I think folks will like it. Like any theater, there will always be more things to add and upgrade - and that is where you - the public come in - 1st you are the next level of testers to really dig into stuff to identify bugs/issues. 2nd, we are hoping to capture a few good folks interest enough they will want to roll up their sleeves and join with Team Nordic to help make Nordic even better. Despite a lack of postings a lot of work has been done in the background - you just haven’t been given a daily dose of work-in-progress pics and us engaging with forum chatter. Instead we have deliberately chosen to focus on getting stuff done. Stay tuned and you will see what am writing about soon enough.

Fair point this yours, Ranger - and waiting is not wasting my time, neither in this case, because those premises. IMHO, of course.
So, just as you suggested, I’ll wait gladly because I’ll see what will be released. Everything at its time. With best regards,

Completed all the models - just have afterburner upgrade - it is Mother’s Day (opps) so will have to cut short this weekend’s dev time.
-
Excited to see and use this theatre, Regard’s Joseph.

Also very interested…. would happily fly and note any pecularities or bugs and let you guys know. Sounds like it would be a fine addition to sim.

I may be a bit late to the party, but I’d like to offer some help with testing as well.
Thanks for all your hard work!

Good, Uwe, and who knows if would it be possible to agree and fly some MP testing sessions together… I’d love that. So let’s keep in touch, if you like this.
With best regards,
Gianni. -
Great idea, Gianni, I have a dedicated server available that we could use for MP testing if anyone’s interested.
All the best, Uwe

This would be particularly a fine touch, Uwe… and thanks a lot for having agreeded to my proposal.
So, to soon!Returning best regards,

Nikos. You’re always too kind with me, dearest Greek bro - you always have been an example for me about this kind of behaviour, as you know.
And besides how to lose an opportunity to show my anarchist flying&landing skills to someone other? :lol:With best regards,

You can add me for Tomcatz´models skins, if you like.

Bloodhound161 - which skins did you make? Also, would you be interested in remastering those? There are quite a few camouflage schemes and having the PSD’s you would be able to perhaps add some additional variety . . . in the case of the Su-27 and Su27UB the basically use the same skin with changed out numbers . . . some for the Su-30. These were the skins that were texmapped for both left and right sides instead of for repeat of left/right sides . . . so, very accurate skins can be made with that texmap. I was thinking of doing it myself . . . but since you have come forward with PSDs that would be a nice upgrade of those skin sets. Let me know if you can do it. . .

I made skins for:
MiG 29G
MiG 29A
MiG 29S
Su 24
Su 25
Tu 95
Tu 22
C 17
Eurofighter GAF (71st/73rd)And I would like to take a look at Toms Su 27 family…

can you give any time for releasing theater?
with best regards

At theme moment, we don’t have a firm release date. Once all of the bugs are taken care of to our satisfaction, we will make a public release. One hint, RC1C stands for release candidate version 1C. So we are getting close.

Afterburner upgrade on the xdof afterburners is done for now. JAS-39 is looking pretty nice now too.
