Campaign crashes at 5:40:01 on 2nd day

Hi guys.
Getting a bit lost.Campaign crashes at 5:40:01 on 2nd day. Repeatedly. Even after a restart.
In the air mid flight and in the UI. Exactly the same time each time I try.
Balance of Power campaign.
I can fly any other campaign and TE mission.
Wondered if anyone else was experiencing this?
Also, F16s Squadron 77th my wingmen wont take off with me. They just sit there. Happens with every flight at that airbase. (this is a problem since they get assigned there)Any advice short of removing the Balkan 3.5 and reinstalling?

tried TacEdit to fix the problem. Not really knowing what I’m doing. trying things like “remove bad links” etc…
But it still stops at 5:40:02.Shame because so far its been a great campaign and I would hate to start over. Sort of kills the experience.

We experienced the same issue on an MP server running the Balance of Power, as we got the infamous blue “TargetCompressionRatio” message and a frozen server at a time of 22:44:50 on Day 1. We worked around the problematic time point by reloading the campaign from the last save and accelerating time past the crash moment. The server didn’t crash anymore after passing the moment, but we can’t really conclude this yet as we’ll need to try actually flying on the server.

That’s a good point. Thanks for the reply. I had moved on to the Korean carrier campaign for a bit.
I’ll take a look and see.Something has been taken out preventing something from happening I suspect. Sounds vague I know, but unlikely I will ever find out what it is that is causing the issue.
I suppose I was reluctant to go back because of the progress Ive made. I take time to fine tune each flight. Deleting or modifying suicidal auto generated missions for other AI jets. Despite never in years having had a problem with doing this, -it maybe something I’ve messed with.
Perhaps a strike package is missing its escort… or a flights waypoints has a messed up timing - i dunno.
Thanks though- will jump back one and accelerate past that time. See what happens.

That’ probably your answer, bad flight. So it is best to do some room cleaning , skip some time, 1hr or 2hr, then save and go again.
Oh, and do not misuse tacedit in a such ways… I hope you didn’t touch saveX.cam files… rather auto save or you own save.
Falcon can be robust, but also can be very fragile… so any tinkering of files without good reason and knowing what this button does ends with … restart/ or even worse reinstall.
Even tacedit can sometime pork your files., but is not dangerous until you save the file. All is in memory., so if you mistake, just use undo or re-load., but don’t save if you’re not sure.

It seems that some unit can not move.

Been away and have been busy. Sorry I never replied.
I never did go back to a previous save and time accelerate past the time i was having problems as a new version of Balkans came out and i just started over.
version 3.6 now.
Which version are you using SpbGoro?

i didn’t mess with the base save. just the ones i was saving. It didn’t fix it anyway. I never did solve the problem why it kept crashing.Interesting to see what happens with this version and the reds carrier group. im on day 2 - 10am ish. Previously I had a problem were the enemy ships were sunk - but the reds were still taking off (appearing in the air).
The carrier group appeared as a runway at sea. (so you could click on that runway and join the reds if you wanted to)
The were jets scheduled to take off from it - despite the fact the aircraft carrier was destroyed.With version 3.6 - i have yet to get to the point where the reds carrier group appear.
