YAME64 suite

I can make custom coords per plane, but the name means nothing to me :). It should be the the aircrat ACD (maybe the 1959 in your example), so it’s not that easy to know for a user. Maybe we should write a table AIRCRAFT NAME -> ACD.
For the font I can add a parameter to set the font size.Aren’t we making this over complex?
Why not just make a separate folder with custom coords (like the newly introduced custom gauge folder). Let yame read out the folder and show all filenames without extension in a select dropdown list in the UI, so the user can manually select to have default coords or override coords from his list. Plus have it also autoloadable with parameters just like you already can for the layout xml? -

I’m having a strange, annoying, but not showstopper issue.
I have two windows: YAME and AUX. YAME is the main window which is showing my center console instruments, and AUX pops when commanded by a keystroke. The weird part is that when the YAME client starts, the AUX window is visible on my main monitor covering up my desktop. It should be hidden at profile start (visible box is not checked). Tapping my TOGGLE keystroke command twice puts it on my touchscreen as it should be.
My touchscreen is positioned beneath my main monitor, so the width and height of both YAME and AUX windows is 1920x1080, pos x 0, pos y 1080.

Strange but non-showstopper indeed. I’ll add it to the bug tracker but don’t think it’ll be in a hot fix but for v1.3

Not needed, I think. RogueSqdn, under CLIENT -> WINDOWS, make sure AUX has VISIBLE un-ticked so that it does not show up on profile start.

Even better. Something: <pit rtt’s=“”>: auto -> custom -> foo…
Please dont waste too much time on this, it just workaround till this eventually get fixed once in BMS… and still, making it this way it left you an option for some future variable… so its not a total waste.
Regards</pit>

I just said it was not checked. :p**

Sorry, I did miss that. May I suggest you look at your .xml profile under Notepad++ and confirm that the window is set to <visible>false</visible>? I have just re-built my YAME profile under v1.2.1 and my CPD window works according to plan (hidden on profile startup). I’ve built another test profile and again, the “hidden” window stays hidden on profile startup.

Ok, i think i got something to report.
Setup:
Rig 1 (main) - gtx 970, yame64 1.2.1, w8.1 x64, U3, right MFD with 7in lcd plugged into igfx adapter, D3D extraction
Rig 2 (tablet for left mfd) - yame32 1.2.1, w8.1 x86/32bit, networked to the Rig1 Lan.Now the glitch: if on Rig1 i put a checkmark ‘also run server’ and nothing in the server tab (greyed out), i have right mfd (hardwired) output to the lcd, and on the tablet (client mode) i have black rectangle instead of mfd when in-world. BUT the airbrake indicator that is also displayed on the Rig2/tablet WORKS. So there’s comms happening ok.
If i uncheck ‘also run server’, manually set ‘server’ tab to d3d etc, then on Rig1 press sequentially ‘start yame server’, ‘start yame client’, ‘launch bms’ - everything WORKS.Bug?

It does indeed say false.
<windows><window><name>YAME</name>
<width>1920</width>
<height>1080</height>
<posx>0</posx>
<posy>1080</posy>
<fullscreen>true</fullscreen>
<border>false</border>
<visible>true</visible>
<background>000000</background>
<antialias>true</antialias><showkey>SHIFT-CTRL-ALT-F1</showkey>
<hidekey>SHIFT-CTRL-ALT-F12</hidekey></window>
<window><name>AUX</name>
<width>1920</width>
<height>1080</height>
<posx>0</posx>
<posy>1080</posy>
<fullscreen>true</fullscreen>
<border>false</border>
<visible>false</visible>
<background>000000</background><antialias>false</antialias>
<showkey>SHIFT-CTRL-ALT-F9</showkey>
<hidekey>SHIFT-CTRL-ALT-F10</hidekey>
<toggle>SHIFT-CTRL-ALT-BackSpace</toggle></window></windows>Weird… the tag after the background line is above the antialias line on one window and not on the other. I’ll try changing that manually and see if it makes a difference.

Well, I think I fixed it, but not in the way I expected:
<windows><window><name>AUX</name> <width>1920</width> <height>1080</height> <posx>0</posx> <posy>1080</posy> <fullscreen>true</fullscreen> <border>false</border> <visible>true</visible> <background>000000</background> <antialias>true</antialias> <toggle>F8</toggle></window> <window><name>YAME</name> <width>1920</width> <height>1080</height> <posx>0</posx> <posy>1080</posy> <fullscreen>true</fullscreen> <border>false</border> <visible>true</visible> <background>000000</background> <antialias>true</antialias></window></windows>
Changing the order of the windows in the XML file fixed it. I also figured out that I can just set one window to toggle with one key and it would work the way I wanted. I found that F8 isn’t used in the BMS Pitbuilder.key so I used that, knowing that sometimes modifier keys can cause issues in other programs.

Hi Roccio:
I’m using YAME 64 v1.1 and would like to upgrade to v1.2. However, when I attempt to download the update from the YAME site, all I’m getting is “Redirecting to Latest Version” which hangs and does not redirect for download. Any suggestions? Love YAME and have been able to create a modest gauge and instrument setup for Falcon BMS on a second monitor. One additional question. I can’t drag my mouse from my main monitor to my second monitor (non-touchscreen) where my gauges and instruments are populated unless I hit the Alt-Tab keys. Any advice on a work around would be appreciated.

I get a save/save as option at bottom of that screen.

Hello guys,

Strange the download doesn’t work. To ensure everyone always gets the most recent version the download page has a redirect to the latest exe file. It uses default html redirect meta tag which all recent browsers support.
What browser are you using? Can you try another perhaps? As for the mouse. AFAIC there’s no workaround I’m afraid.

Awesome Ulti. Been following your thread at VP for a while now. Big thumbs up for that build!
Hope you don’t mind, I’ve added your video on the yame website in the video section (screenshots page). -

Not been able to replicate it yet but I’ll add it to the buglist. Strange, I remember we had an issue with bms as a server vs yame server for a while but we finally got that sorted out later on.
