Good Quality and Good Performance Guide - NVIDIA

Tried that. I cannot get any forced AA to work, and I’m used to messing on with profiles using NCP or Inspector. Odd.
Try deleting your profile and start again. I have had a similar problem before. The profile sometimes seems to lock up, and changed settings don’t take effect. This only happens when I have played around with profile quite extensively.

Have done that also. I reinstalled newest drivers (cleanly) but haven’t had a chance to test since. I’ll do that tonight.

In my case everything is fine but the deactivation of the vertical synchronization gives me winks on the center of screen (when I move my head with the headtracking). The movement is less smooth. I only activate Vertical sinchr in Nvidia CP, not in Falcon setup (less smooth if I activate in both sites). I have less than 50 FPS. My Antialiasing is x2, Anisotropic x4. In Instant action over Seul with TGP and Ground-Radar I have 28 FPS.
My System, AMD Phenom II (3,6 GHz, 4 cores) and ASUS Nvidia GTX 560 Ti 1G.

where is your “smootness” slider at i TRackIR itself.
I have it around 20-25 and never used V-sync in a decade. Dont even know what others mean with “tearing effect”. Or i just was lucky dont know.

Thank you for sharing your settings! It works fine with good fps and quality. I did not get it using ingame settings and ignoring the driver-settings.

hey a.s. , thanks for the guide. trying to figure out if the performance I am getting is normal for my rig:
i7 [email protected], 16gb ram, nvidia 980gtx @1590mhz
I am running windowed mode at 1440p native res of my monitor. In the Stock KTO training mission “Nav” I get like 75-85FPS max with basically the settings you are suggesting. Is that normal? Saw lots of people posting about crazy 100+ FPS with rigs that are not as powerful as mine … am I missing something? Looking to optimize FPS since in Balkans I get like max 50-60.

Very high FPS benefit FPS games a lot, but do you really need more than 60FPS in BMS?

Can anybody help me with this problem I described here
Having trouble achieving the same graphics quality after switching from 980GTX to 1080TI.

Might want to leave the lighting effects on “per pixel” because per vertex causes the light cone of your taxi lights to be disabled and you don’t want that at night. (at least on my system it works like that.)
-
I had a hell of a time trying to tweak settings on my Geforce card. As it turns out (after about a whole weekend of research, trial, and error), the Geforce Experience was not allowing any changes made to the graphics card profile to take effect. Take my advice- remove the Geforce Experience and it will make your life much easier!
-
It’s strange, because I do not have such a problem with the Geforce Experience …, hmmm.
-
I can’t get AA to apply via NCP. It has no effect in game. Did you use a compatibility bit?
Had the same Problem, you have to disable “Fullscreen optimisations” in the windows compatibility tab on the falcon bms.exe!
Now the Anti Aliasing kicks in! -
per pixel lighting unless you want to taxi blind at night!

I got 25 fps more wth the settings from As post ,low res clouds are on and particle systen is reduced , in window mode in cloudy day the lowest is 53 fps,
We all should eject below 50fps ,in building populated airports with around 20 korean f5 waiting for take off i have about 35 fps ,this is the first missionLow res clouds are not so bad ,high res are too heavy

well in my new setup I noticed that in full screen it was kinda laggy…
Last few tries I went with window mode and I saw an fps increase and no hickups. -
Well, on my own side I’m always at 61 fps at least, no matter of any weather conditions I’m flying in - night included, I mean, - with all the graphic options set at their maximum.
But I have to tell that I’m running BMS with a RTX 2080 Ti, and my PC/system is a little ‘beefed’ on its own - I owe an Intel [email protected] GHz with a proper ROG MB, 32 GB of G-Skill [email protected] GHz, a 1TB Samsung SSD drive…
Trinkets of this kind, you know :lol:Wiht best regards.

Do you have your FPS clamped to your monitor refresh rate (61 fps / 60Hz) ? Because with that setup, you could nearly pin it at 240 FPS if you have a monitor that could keep up…. A setup that fancy deserves a fast gaming monitor. Unless your answer is that you’re using a 4K monitor, in which case, yea 61 fps is commendable, but IMHO way ahead of it’s time while still being not as fast as gaming monitors. I can’t wait until 4K 120Hz+ gaming monitors become the “thing”.
Killer setup, bro!!

i want to see what the next updates or the next patches will include gfx wise 4.34 was not a success in that matter
AS said something that i agree for simulators below 50 fps you should eject
