Hee hee… My depravity notwithstanding, a guy named “Pumpy” hints at such things…?

How are the animations and such going?

-
That’s such an awesome model, can’t wait for it to be ready!!

Reaching out to various people and dealing with 3DS and LE to get the model in line for rigging. There are a ‘few’ parts that will move, some with up to 3 triggers and with different limitations.

Very nice, keep walking mate!
Nikos. -
Wow I’m speechless!
I have also started again a bit with 3D (never did anything in 3D since the FS98 times) and make some minor adjustments to the models of EECH Allmods (attack helicopter sim) now.
I really learned alot the last few weeks and this is the reason why I understand now what a perfect work you make here and how complex it is to make such detailed models. Thank’s alot for your outstanding work!
I’m looking forward to see this bird in BMS. This will be like Christmas for me

Wow:eek:! Definitely fantastic work! Can’t wait to do some long-range MiG destruction (and close range as well)

Appreciate this comment man. Thing is even if you aim for simplistic modeling of all moving parts and a realistic packaging of all components based on the real thing you end up with something very complex. I went overboard with a lot of areas already but still managed to stay within (very roughly) the BMS requirements/limitations. It’s just a handful with the landing gear rotating axis (which I don’t wanna compromise on), the wings (variable geometry with spoilers and flaps and slats) and the other moving parts such as refueling probe and airbrake plus the remainder of the design coming in pairs of two (engines, crew, etc.). So yeah, if you ask me today how did I do it? No f***ing clue. 3000 hours later I’m in 3DS trying to figure out the DOFs :).

Well we all certainly appreciate it, it’s going to be amazing.

Thanks dude. I hope it will be…I have this vision in my head of a scene slowly fading into view through the eyes of a RIO looking back at the vertical tails engulfed in vapor and vibrating during takeoff going into vertical climb and then cutting to an external profile shot showing the gear retracting in a realistic fashion (meaning slowly) into the compartment and doors closing with the AB fully lighting up in a dusk setting with this playing in the background:
Epicness.

This could also be a nice background sound

I can’t wait to dance with an Iranian Tomcat though.
