Warning: Windows 10 Fall Creators Update - Loss of Antialiasing
-
I wonder if it would be save to install the new FC update also in terms of TARGET software and possible issues with BMS.
To me it looks like some issues still haven’t been fixed, so as for now I am refraining on intalling the FC update somewhat.

Ehm, where in BMS do you guys control Antialiasing? There are no settings for it. Just for Anisotropic Filtering, which is not the same ……

It’s called ‘multisampling’ in graphics options.

M$ want to update my Win 10 to 1703. Should I let it?

No problem with my update.

Guys, sooner or later you will be forced to update so IMHO it’s better to deal with it as soon as possible… you are only deferring possible problems and meanwhile are asking for further ones, as only the updated Windows versions are truly supported by MS (and all other manufacturers out there reason the same way).
Just keep automatic updates on and live happy and easy, in my and many other ones’ experience problems are exceptions, not the rule. -

For those affected by the loss of anti-aliasing in BMS following the Windows 10 Fall Creator Update, simply do the following:
Right-hand click on Falcon BMS.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> tick “Disable full screen Optimization”

That is all because of that stupid xbox (+ dvr) app. What the **** I need that on pc machine… official ms bloatware.
Even if you turn off whole xbox app in settings , profiles are still not applied until you checkmark that switch Tach kindly discovered. What a maroons…Now I have even more phun with dp/hdmi/dvi multi monitors window reposition/resizing after monitor standby/power off.
Every ****ing window gets resized and repositioned to a monitor which comes online first (dvi-d) , after stby., because, when dp/hdmi monitor goes off it vanishes out of system and is invisible for windows desktop use., resizing whole desktop area to a realtime active one. What a feature … heh.
I know…, its about compatibility with monitor/graphics card , active-off/standby policy standard… but shouldn’t that already ve’been addressed by now, 5 years back into the future.
Luckily … some alpha software ‘Persistent Windows’ is doing its job kindly after adding it to a… hkcu.\Currentversion\Run … so its a GO. But the problem is the need for it after all this time and all kind of (expensive) tech gadgets.
Thank you almighty M$ for Windows 10… I mean it , very much.

Above tickbox didn’t do much for me (nvidia). Had to google and then set ‘AA compatibility bit’ to ‘Diablo III’ in nvidiaprofileinspector. That did teh trick.
