What's the best way to boost FPS using the 'advanced' graphics settings?

@Cloud:
Yeah, AF and Mipmapping.
Don’t know what you have setup on your GPU though, it may have AF on some setting, which you could shut down.
I’m no expert in it either, but I do know the basics.
One of the video Guru’s around should chime in at some point.

Well thanks for chiming in, anyway! I’ve been doing some research (the last hour or so) and I think I should start with disabling ‘linear mipmap flitering’…then try disabling just straight ‘mipmapping’, and after that ‘anisotropic filtering’.
Hopefully, ONE of those (or a combination of all three) should do the trick! I’ll let everyone know (what I find)!

Turning down object density will result in porked mission results (Kills/Dammages)\
Lots of damaged but no kills on ground targets. And there are other problems I cant remember.

That is somewhat correct!

Yep. This slider should (maybe will) be removed.

oh, ok…thanks for the heads up!

Great idea.
Fact is this is still being used in game. And defined in DB. IMO the best could just be to tied it to “non auto-gene” trees, fences and few other insignificant “features”. But for sure, this should have any effect on rosters anymore to avoid the issues described above.
Or simply remove it entirely once for all.

and there is a specific section for performance in the hotlist.

I tried looking for the hotlist (and I used the advanced search tool) but I couldn’t find it?

It’s in his sig, between his system specs and the 13 sigs he has!!!

and I seem to have gotten my FPS up to around 25 now (thanks to editing the config, THANKS sebastianthiago…and also lowering the screen resolution in the graphics settings)…another problem i’m having is the screen/program/game will freeze for a second, every so often. Not a huge deal, but one second can mean a huge difference in an engagement.
Anyone know what I could do to stop said ‘freeze’?

You’re welcome… What are your rig specs?

I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but: Windows 10 64 bit, AMD A8-7410 APU, 2.20 Ghz (it’s a Hewlitt-Packard)

….and Trees, Grass & screen resolution.
