Wow really great what you did with the lod extractions. The wings and canopy seem to be working, although I cant seem to get the MFDs RWR of the F-16 working together with the canopy lod, they are blank. Disabling the canopy lod and its working. Not sure what I did wrong or how to fix it. Maybe the dimensions I use with the caopy lod?
Do you still see functional f16 MFDs at your side?Thanks so much already

Obi1oops… you got me. no MFDs and RWR… I tried other pit files, no go.
once canopy disabled, MFDs back. weird bug. -

my test with A10 3d interior pit still no go. too bad F16 pit is the best pick for F117.
Like PH said, could be switch issue.
I change canopy switch from 5 to 3. no go. remove swtich node from canopy, no go.
glue canopy part back to cockpitwing model, no go. I’m stuck.need some refreshing… old pic for SKLEGIN

All right, I confirm F-22 3d pit(the one in Nordic DB) is OK for F117… all MFDs/RWR working!
BTW my previous test shows, canopy of this narrow space type(F117/102/106) should use separate canopy lod. when I glue canopy back to cockpitwing model, some parts become invisible as too close to pilot’s eye spot.

chasing a cruise missile… a true tiny target for gunnery.
I test a cruise missile idea that I posted on some forum many years ago…
the result is quite pleasing.1. replace a bomber with cruise missile model, set correct hitbox. have one slot for internal HP.
2. in FE/f4browse, set minimal alt 1, cruise alt 1-3, max cruise alt no more than 1000ft.
ACD use bomber brain, sensor -eye. loadout, one internal HP, invisible. for one bomb.
3. in TE, it acts as bomber, flight profile need minor adjust, but most alt is low and ok.
4. it fly like bomber, low and fast, can follow terrain. once over target, a bomb drops and hit target, then the shock wave hit the missile(fake bomber), and destroy it. it means the fake bomber won’t return to home base.
5. it has RCS and IR signature, I fly F22 to shoot it down with AAM and gun. chasing it at low is cool.
6. if use this trick in campaign, you are cruise missile planning officier.
the missile squadron will work like a bomber sq, need an airbase. you can have many cool TOT plans, tortuous routes for missiles, all at your command. enemy air defense may shoot them down… if they can detect them timely.
7. if you want the missile fired from ships… then the ship should be set as a fake carrier, and place missile/fake bomber squadron on it. then you can have some warship launching one-way bomber to various targets, at the first hour of campaign… taking out many AFBs, radar stations, army bases, etc…
8. of course, the warhead of missile can be loaded with CBU or SFW submunition… better for hammering SAM/armour units. -

This was the only way to achieve to SAMs work on CM just used tweaks FM for flying as Kh-22 to record the massive ASM salvo against A CBG.
Hopefully if ever be ASM/ARM modeling it will be someting like that. -

Hopefully if ever be ASM/ARM modeling it will be someting like that.I do more test and watch SAM/AAA engaging incoming missiles. some survivors still hit the target. its cool to watch the show in a following F-22… I’ve to admit low-flying cruise missiles are tough tgt for airdefense units… too late to detect and react.
for ship to shot down CM… maybe a tweaked, very short-ranged ARM/ASM can be loaded on such fake CM. once CM closing to ships, if ship can detect and shot down CM timely, CM won’t release ARM/ASM. AGM12/65A seems a good pick for such mod.
