Windows 10 Task switching makes BMS unresponsive

Windows 10 Task switching (using Alt-Tab) makes BMS unresponsive about 30% of the times I do it.
Mostly when I am in the BMS GUI, and is not flying.I already set compatibility setting: “disable fullscreen optimization”, is there anything else I can do?
My Windows 10 is fully updated, so is BMS.
Gpx card is Nvidia 550 Ti
I use fullscreen with FullHD resolution (1920x1080). -
Alt-tab has behaved in the manner you describe for as long as I can remember.
Run windowed mode and you won’t have to jump back and forth in the 2D screen (UI). Won’t change anything once in 3D, but at least you will be able to open and close other windows while in the UI. You will have a smaller GUI screen and that will have to be placed in the top left corner to get the 3D screen centered properly. x=0, y=0.
I was hesitant to run windowed mode way back when, but wouldn’t go back to fullscreen now because I like the added functionality in the 2D and also extract gauges to another monitor.

Hmm, thanks.
If they cannot solve the issue, I wish they would just make an option for the GUI to run windowed, but the flying in fullscreen.

that’s quite possible and what we all do
just make the 3D window (multi screen applet of the bms launcher) the same size of your native resolution of your screen and deselect borderdone

yes, run in windowed mode. When in-sim (full screen), do a ctrl-alt-delete then hit escape to lose the double mouse cursor after alt-tabbing.
