-
Thanks for this(…)have to give it a look. Ouch!
With best regards,[/UOTE]
Hi Jackal,
That’s fine, it’s a lot of fun so spending an afternoon escorting B-52’s is time well spent -
Quick announcement:
Later this year (oct/nov) We will release three brand new campaigns for this mod. Also we are looking to expand this mod with a new Database and a terrain is being developed if all goes well. So apart from the new campaigns we could be looking at a stand alone full theater.
The campaigns already released will offcourse still be available. And thanks all for the support and the help and work and time you guys put in, it is greatly appreciated and enjoyed (you know who you are)

Impressive! Almost speechless.
And we’re not using DirectX 11 or so here, right?Well done once again, Manos!
With best regards,

Jackal no its plain 4.33 version and to be specific KTO vanilla (well after my test models not so much Vanilla but anyway)
To the Vietnam team just take a look here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?28375-F-4E-F-Phantom&p=476453&viewfull=1#post476453 and drop me a line what you want
-
Impressive, as I said, dear Manos.
Please let me try to ask once again… Phantoms are good. But no way to get some Thuds in a not too much far future?
With best regards,

Weather maps are coming along just fine

You mean this one?
If you’ll settle for an A-10 pit (which fits perfectly) you’re sorted -
I got it. At last, better so than nothing at all.
Deal, spawn it!
With best regards,
-
Already done mate, give us a few weeks and you’ll be going Downtown in an Thud
PS: We’ll get a separate thread on this forum when it comes out.
-
Thanks a lot, Buster!
I already imagined it.
Wait a minute, please: which version of the Warthog cockpit did you use? The first version without the radar, am I guessing right?
And what about her loadout?Just can’t wait to test this a little on my little own… you already know how I’m made.
With best regards,
-
The hog doesn’t have a radar in either version; but there is the MFD in both.
-
I just wanted to throw this in - it is surprising to me that a gun-laying radar was never installed on the A-10. Sets like those are VERY tiny and extremely simple. Basically, you might have a console panel to operate the entire unit, or perhaps an additional panel under the HUD control unit. The only display would be on the HUD itself, with no additional output.

Well the reason for that is quite simple… the A-10A was a throwaway aircraft. Cheap, deployed in large numbers and meant to slow down the sea of Soviet T-72s pouring through the Fulda Gap in Germany, with A-10 squadrons expected to take a real beating during the opening hours of World War III, but provide a buffer long enough for REFORGER to be executed.
On the other hand, the F-105D/E/F actually DID have a radar - not a great one but they certainly did.

Ah, so?
Gimme, gimme it, Buster, please, and I’ll see what good I’ll be able to do with it.
