So he would need a VPN to download.Yep, I guessed that… And I’m not sure I can do anything to help, although I’m proposing. I received no answer the first time, just the same question, so I’m not expecting much better nor proposing much more than the same answer.
Multiple sources is really not an option for me. Using a 10 GB limited space (free Mediafire formula) is too small. If there is solution for Chinese users, I don’t know it, and I don’t think it will be publicly stated here. P2P seems to be the only solution.

Quickfix for 1.21
1.21 is still called 1.21.
If you have not updated to 1.21 yet
Simply do it, files are corrected.If you have updated already
Just apply the 1.20 to 1.21 update, it’s still as small and it adds the correction.This is about the missing change for the HN5A IR missile.

The changes themselves required of few hours of testing. I can provide a zip of the files to extract in your Sim/Misdata folder. As the txt says, beware of MP compatibility problems. The original files are included.

I’ll try to give some feedback.
My biggest gripe before has been with hn5a units who do indeed one shoot me on a low approach, pretty much what you described. It doesn’t help that finding them with even thorough tgp scanning is incredibly hard given that in the campaign the battalions with manpads tend to be on the constant move. -

FYI, one of our squadmates had a CTD flying this campaign ysterday.
Crash was in the TGP renderer : apparently a 3D model is not setup properly. This is what he was looking at, near Kovin Airbase :
It could be the base of one of the aircrafts that seem to be on the apron.

Ah.
I didn’t change the 3D models, so this is certainly Balkans related, if anything such.
PS: on Kovin at the time, Su-27, Su-25, Mig-25, Mig-29A (and 23). On the picture, I suspect Mig-29A.
PPS: In any theater, I’ve regularly had a problem with late TGP picture enabling. It then looks like TGP is in trouble to start, freezes the screen a couple seconds, then CTD. It never seemed to be related to a particular location, but rather to starting the TGP display late in the flight (near target).

QUICKFIX for Lorik’s Balkans 1.21 added in first post, end of post.
It corrects Gate Unlocked to make it “winnable”.
This is not MP critical. You don’t need to apply this extremely tiny quickfix for MP compatibility.
It changes your save0.cam and .tri, if you know what I’m talking about.
If you already started a Gate Unlocked and want to make it winnable:
1. Apply the quick fix
2. Open your save in Mission Commander (while having LB1.21 as current theater)
3. Open Teams tab
4. Choose Country NATO
5. Open Relations tab
6. Tick NATO C2 box and Slovenia Box (as “enable” them both)
7. Click Apply Changes
7. SaveYour save will become “winnable”.

Is there a way to get the gbu-54 into the campaign. I’ve added it via MC and it’s shows in the squadron inventory, and it shows there, but not in the UI

Only by editing the DB, which is multiplayer critical.
I restricted a number of weapons because they made things too easy.

Hey guys!
Aren’t you all enjoying 4.34? I had my first MP flight today, so much to learn, re-learn, tactics to adapt, new situations to confront. And it feels so good!
I’ve already been asked if my “Lorik’s” theater mods are compatible with 4.34 or not; I thought it would deserve an answer, especially when Balkans is already out.
1. 4.34 has so much to be discovered for a 4.33 user. The best way to do it is to use what the devs prepared for us, aka KTO. Go fly your first “old” campaign flight, insert on the ground traffic, appreciate the new AI air-to-air behavior, the new SAM behavior, insert into recovery traffic. You’ll struggle and will probably realize you want to make things as simple as they can be, to start with. Moreover, KTO is, to my knowledge, the only theater proposing a full ATC experience at the moment. It contains so many improvements in .34, that wouldn’t want to miss them.
2. When I started to play with Mission Commander and created news campaigns, I quickly started to try to fill areas of air combat I couldn’t find as much as I wanted in other campaigns I had flied. With 4.34, we have new logics for a lot of stuff in many areas, a very serious challenge in the new campaigns. Converting from .33 versions is certainly possible, maybe just to an extent. I will try to see how I end up with, especially with the Korean mod. But I’m certain .34 will drive me to new ideas that could be more interesting to just converting my thoughts about 4.33 into 4.34. To my own surprise, some of them aren’t really relevant any more in this environment. Did you try to bug a SA-14 launcher in the fog? They’ll have a harder time than ever.
For now, of course, the mods aren’t compatible with 4.34. If they ever become so, it will be showing here in an obvious way.
But, for what I can say now, if there is really something interesting to be done, it could has well be Lorik’s Something 2.0.
Bottom line, I’m flattered to be asked this question. I’ll answer by saying that 4.34 (and Balkans, for this thread) as way too much to offer at the moment to worry about any mod I could propose
