Temporary add-on panels for controlling test systems onboard aft.
A couple of HAF Block 30, 50 and 52 had some similar panels temporary in the past while testing & recording ASPIS parameters for certification.

Just to correct some things up regarding the last photo. The blank panel at the left of the digital eHSI is standard there to the planes modified with this eHSI, since NAV/ILS/TCN selector knob is now located on eHSI bezel (the small “M” (Mode) pushbutton in the middle of the rotaries).

Would be nice to have a button to turn pilot legs on or off whilst ingame
-
Have you seen those in the above vid?
Lol pimp my ride?
What are they?
First off, this is an ED tail bird, which says it all I think.
The small panels are basically covers for systems that are not installed on particular aircraft. You might have seen those on say MLU’s or earlier blocks.

Why cannot I not get this working with the Aegean theater? I have it working fine in Korea, and yes I have edited Aegean’s own data base, and added the images to the Objects folder in the Aegean add on section? But for some reason I cannot get it to work?

What theatre you’re using?
There seems to be a problem with the Aegean (and probably any other custom theatre) but I don’t have them installed so can’t help ATM.

Got it working in Aegean… The Agean DB uses a different lod number for the cockpit. All working now.

Please don’t share that information;)

Oh sorry guys… When I get home in the morning I will have to look it up again. I will post it here.

Ok sorry guys… Aegean (as per Deejays version) is LOD number “7544”.
For other theaters if they have their own database, just enter the Parent Number (which is #2 for all f-16s) in the “Parent/Normal” box on the main screen and press enter. LOD number is displayed.

Excellent, but I don’t think I’d use it as I need to get to those switches. I’d also like one with bare feet to.

Just a comparison to the real MFD’s in a 16 and the TM Cougar MFD’s

Cougar MFD’s are good … but the back-light is shit! … It’s TOOOOOO much bright! Even the lowest setting is much more bright than the maximum real one!
I don’t understand why did that!

I’ve dl Agean and Balkans theaters. I used your method (with the parent number change) to set the pilot in copckpit for Balkans theater and it runs well. I haven’t tried yet in Agean cause I don’t understand what to do with the lod number 7544.
Is the method for others theaters you’ve noticed will run in Agean theater if I use it ?Thank’s a lot

Yes… For some reason or another in the Aegean DB the lod # for this is “7544”. So instead of editing LOD #81 for Korea, edit Lod # 7544 for Aegean and it should work. The reason why it works for Balkans, is I am assuming Balkans is using the same DB as Korea.
