New NVIDIA drivers

I can see the image with more definition and clarity in the colors…. Either that or this weed is too good.

You can see the weeds? Wow, that is a good driver

It’s either the weed or that some setting has been inadvertently changed on driver installation.
Taking a look to the changelog there is nothing that could possibly enhance the way bms looks.
But new drivers have sometimes a strong placebo effect. And as long as you think it looks better, it does look better indeed for you.

I don’t know where is the best place to post this but i solved my stuttering problems by upgrading my driver to 358.

Even on 4.33?

developer drivers, at guru3d these are preferred. For me they are good on Win7 x64.
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=402674BMS :vsync on, aniso off, tripple buffering on,multisampling,
Driver:aniso 16x, aa 8x, triple buffering off,
good read here :

-tested multisampling BMS vs Nvidia standard cp. BMS gives far better result compared with standard Nvidia cp.17-11-2015 EDIT/ Stuttering on relative high fps (30-55) seems a problem I can not overcome, drivers 358.91 are slightly better in that respect.
Probably gonna try a R9 380 for that reason. -
Dang. Latest 430.64 are 492MB in size…
Are they Nuts? -
I tested the last drivers and the FPS impact is Huge with my configuration…
with 390.77 -> 78fps with tgp on
with 430.64 -> 40fps with tgp on -
I am using the latest drivers since I installed my GTX980TI a few days ago. Now as I have moved from an AMD HD6970 all I can say is… it rocks! I’ve got everything turned on in the driver. Maxed out all the settings in the game. Turned off shadows though… they’re a killer. I’m getting 100 fps in flight. 70 fps on the ground. Oh, not tried tgp yet and these fps are only from the first TE.

i would remove hdr instead shadows and keep the good work devs did in 4.34, and limit the fps with vsync on.

I’ll give it a try. Already got the fast vsync on now.

I’ve left HDR and shadows on for now. With fast vysnc it’s all running sweet. Will see how it is in a heavy TE or once in a campaign…. got a lot of relearning to do first.

Focus shadows m8´s is the killer. Uncheck focus shadows, shadows on smoke and water enviroment mapping. Enjoy!
