BMS F18 A and C upgrade - community involvement
-
Or these, Eagle on the left, Hornet on the right. Latest blocks/upgrades.
-
-
Whoa, those are for real and not just simulator mockups?
-
Yes they do exist.
-
I really like the Eagle E…great pits, great looking aircraft, multo power and also Chuck Yeager preferred it hehe.
-
Strike Eagle rocks!!! Powerfull aircraft, great skin in BMS and a real chalenge to fly IN BMS COMBAT ENVIRONMENT along with F-14!!! When i see these Strike Eagle and Tomcat skins in BMS i cant help thinking what a petty is the lack of 3d pits for these babys… even with not 100% acurate functions or radar functions and display layout still they would make huge impact for DACT and combined air ops with Falcon drivers!!!MilVis has a F-15E pit for FSX. This can provide usefull background for a BMS F-15E 3dpit!
i wish all the best for you guys that work on the F/A-18C 3Dpit!!! hope we have results as soon as possible!!! -
Wow,
I really like the new F18 pit, hope it is released soon!Cheers

Yes, brand new 3d cockpit for A and C models created by WaveyDave.
Looks really nice!!! do you think the main-gear will have better dynamics on impact. I love the how realistic the main-gear responds visually in the DCS sims. You know they will go to town for the F-18. Was just wondering is this is possible in the BMS sim? The main gear on impact looks really dynamically stiff on the struts in 4.32 but its soooo much better than it was!
again wonderful work here!!

RoNot without some work to the flight model, and even then Falcon does not have the kind of animation system in it’s graphics engine for that kind of complex modelling. It will be better than what is currently in the game.

I’m sure once the bug is released someone from the community will create a skin like that.
I’m not a skinner. There are some highly skilled folks in the community working on skins now, which is very much appreciated.

How much has the model changed visually? Love to hear some details on all that has been done.
Many moons ago I used to deploy with my squadron “VAW-125” on the USS Saratoga CV-60. The Hornet wan an awesome work horse.
Would be cool to fly some E2C Hawkeye sorties here and thereHope to see a busy flight deck!
Cheers,
