NEW ICP/DED app for Android/iOS
-
Does it work with different keymap?
-
Works nice, but really needs landscape mode, with even a 7 to 8 in tablet it’s awkward to position it as tablets are longer width wise than height.
Even if you have to implement letter boxes on either side (like older movies on new screens, etc) it would be perfect. -
Thanks. Just bought it and will try it out it out. Really looking forward to you adding landscape mode for the iPad.

This app works like a champ. Perfect in every regard. How is the landscape mode coming along? Also, any plans to make one for the F/A-18C Hornet?
-
Any updates for this app?
-
I too would like a landscape mode. Also, the Drift C/O toggle has no effect, everything else works great.
Am I the only one who is having issues with the Drift C/0 switch?
-
Look to see if it is reversed as it is with mine… flip the dobber down to warn reset to fix the FPM
-
Will have to try this app! cheaper option to hardware version and maybe just raising your monitors would help! vesa mouts etc.

I was using this on my phone, but I just bought a samsung tablet, and this app just works awesome on the tablet! Everything was a little too close on the phone, but on a 9.6 inch table, its perfect!
Quasi Stellar, you were absolutely right! Hopefully that will be fixed in an update, but its no big deal.

Tried everything in this thread, but I can’t get any of the buttons to register in 4.34. DED displays fine, but none of the buttons respond. I’m running Android. Any suggestions?

Had this issue recently after a re-install of Windows. Here is my fix… Delete the server from your computer. All of it. Go to your firewall and delete the exceptions. Unzip the server again. Right click on executable and run as admin. Run the server and make sure the firewall is tagged in the drop down. Runs perfectly for me now. The readme expressly says run as administrator. I ran it first without, and it FUBAR’d

getting very slow lag with this app?

will try running as admin next time!

I use this in addition to extracting the MFD’s to TM Cougars. I really like the set up. Works very well.

My Drift C/o toggle is bass ackwards too. No bid deal really.

Purchased Pro, installed the Server app, ran it first time as Admin and it added it to Windows Firewall (Domain/Public/Private). Starts fine, says "Detecting BMS Simulation… and under it “Initializing…done”. BMS 4.34 running Instant Action in a window, start the App on my Pixel3 XL (Android Q OS, to be released as Android 10 on September 3!) and I get “Waiting Server Data”. Both Computer and Android on same wireless, now what?
EDIT 8-28-19 : I have an older Nexus 5X spare phone running Android 8.1.0 so I fired it up and downloaded ICP Pro from the Google Store. Started ICP Server, BMS 4.34, and then ICP Pro on the Nexus. It instantly connected and works perfectly, 0 lag, so my assumption is the Android ver. 10 OS (Q beta is over for me apparently!) on my Pixel3 XL is blocking it somehow. Sent iHopi an email, until he responds I would say DO NOT UPDATE ANY ANDROID DEVICE TO ANDROID 10 you intend to use with this app…

Follow up and FYI, I just purchased an Android TECLAST P80X 8" Tablet for under $100 on Amazon, which is also a full use phone and video call camera (Google Duo came installed), running Android 9.0. Default is upright mode, works flawlessly with BMS ICP Pro…

Such a cool little program and he has apparently abandoned it and the users that paid for it. From what I read it won’t work on an iPad and I also know Android 10 breaks it. I mean really, WTF??
-
So does app and server it still work with the latest version of BMS and Android 9? In that case it is still great to use on a older tablet.
