Not as level as in FF. Biggest problem (as I know) current BMS4 exe does not allow separated sim(data) files. Even you can make separated theaters with their own DB you have to overwrite sim(data) files with mine.

i’m starting to get nervous.
these are clearly things that have to be fixed in BMS. i would like to know if one of the devs will be cross-checking all these items and
start working on a db update or if everyone will be on his own with these modifications and their implementation.
some more of these findings and i’m gonna start copying all the posts made by molniballage while i don’t really have the time for this.what will be done about it?
i would like to read that somebody is looking into item after item, checks them and !!-hoppla hop-!! integrates the change for the next update. -

So far I have linked dat files, all is downloadable. Just copy them into \data\sim\misdata or \data\sim\acdata. Only enabling dispenser on Su-17 and disabling the HMS on MiG-31 are required DB edits. When I finished missile FMs I will continue with Hardpoints and racks on red jets. Or should I change the priority? Modeling the red SAMs required a bit harder tweaks.

Hey Molni, curious how you get the AA-9 to do the drop & launch thing? I mean how it’s not flying straight from the wing but drops down for a few seconds?, this effect is more realistic for many missiles in DB…

Different thrust characteristic. Very simple. You can see the difference in thrust data. In original data thrust goes up to 18000 within 0.025 sec. In my model from 0 to 1 sec thrust is zero. This cause the drop effect.You can see here exactly the characteristic, but I always posted the edited data.
http://www.mediafire.com/?ai5wm2ikqcqga9xSo, if you do not want to change weight of missile and / or making new characteristic just adding the drop effect insert one new time break point - do not forget increase the break point value with 1 - and the first two thrust value have to be 0. The first two time value have to be 0 and 1.
(I cut of the quantity of break point, you can see in the table.)

Just one more note. All missile weight curretly inaccurate, therefore their drag model eighter. They are heavier as should be. In deacceleration phase the loss of momentum is to low because of bigger weight. If you just lower the weight keeping the current burnout / total weight ration the thurst also have to be scaled down because it was set was too big weight. IMHO its worth the work.
(I can show in a video what the problem is.)

is there somewhere that i can get all these changes in like one dat file. Because i love what you are changing but i am not a programer and i really dont want to break my game trying to change what ever it is you are chaning. So was just wandering if there was something i could download that would drag and drop

PS: And all F-15 modded datfiles you have? F-15Cs in Falcon (FF, BMS) behave like bricks as soon as a certain speed and AOA limit is reached. I also noticed the F-15C/E and F/A-18E roll way faster than the Mirages under the conditions I checked. Is that intended? Or is my controller psychic

All F-15 dat file have been uploaded weeks ago. AoA is limited to 20 deg, but maybe it should be 21 or 22. It is very easy to change the AoA, just open the file with any text edtior and change the value.
