BMS 4.34 sound mod?

Yeah, I got the opportunity to fire a TOW missile while at the range. It will obviously be vastly different from the way a pilot would experience a missile launch IRL, however the point remains the same just based on how sound works. Low frequency sounds, particularly powerful ones like those from a rocket motor or simply vibrations from movement, would be present in the cockpit IRL, though probably dampened to the point of being almost inaudible given external air movement, engine noise, helmet and o2 mask noise, and just sheer bulk of material between the missile and the pilot. Now, I don’t know for sure but I think I can safely assume that while they might not hear it they would probably feel it. Given this is a simulation, we as players cannot feel it so it has to be represented through sound, which it is. However, I think that it would be most likely that if you were to hear anything from a launching missile it would be more low frequency sound rather than the high frequency whoosh that exists in the game today.
All that said, my whole point of this thread was to hopefully find a decent sound mod that might be available, not to try and change someone’s thought or understanding of the current system. Mostly because, while I think that the current sound isn’t very impactful or well represented to the player, it may very well be accurate. So I’m not wanting to have the default changed so much as just find something that works for me.

Basically I’m just looking for any mods that are known to work with 4.34 that I could try, if I don’t like it, I’ll uninstall it.

Idea here is also to make it better if we can and when it is valid.
The difference to me (comparing to what I know) is the distance between the missile and the pilot. Its isolation also, the “electrically/damping” of materials (an aluminum/composite wing is not a massive piece of steel) and the present vibration regime coming from the move in the air masse and the jet engine itself. I am really not sure we could feel the rocket motor ignition of an AIM9 or even an AGM65 inside our cockpit.
One also make a different between the missile mounted on wingtip / on ejectors … and the difference between the motor itself or ignition, and the sound of additional air flow hitting the canopy / non-laminar air mass perturbations (like the sound heard in high AoA).But any RL jet pilot with such experience are welcome to give more feedback.
Then … we need someone able to generate such a sound sample. After … Up to me to try to find correct settings in the soundtalbe to make it sound correct in game.
For info, current sample is a mix (already a bit exaggerated in duration and tone! … and not attenuated by pilot helmet as they should be in game) of different actual missiles depart sound captured in cockpit and from videos.
Among them
(not used in samples)… but mostly form other “non public” (different sound quality) footage including F-16.
And for bombs, inspired by that kind of …
… and few others.
EDIT: Maybe something to (re)do here. IRL they are much shorter with a higher tone, IMO even with helmet on.

Avionics
UHF/VHF/HQ as Human Only.
If not in Multiplayer - there should not be any comms at all.
After flying without those AI comms, I laugh everytime I fly Falcon bms and than a voice comes with ‘2 Sunrise!’… it seems stupid.

Actually … the electrical/avionic/radio/audio noise is implemented and you can hear it when Gene comes on-lines. IIRC, it is tied to Intercom master vol. But in your example, while accurate to what is played in headset, is too much isolated from ambient cockpit noise.

Again, my experience is limited to a TOW missile launch and that ignition doesn’t happen until the missile is a good 30-50 feet in front of the brad (the missile is launched from the tube with a gas which I believe is co2, I could be wrong I’ve been out for a while). And even then the initial ignition is noticable but the sound does quickly fade. That said though I did have comms headset on and the engine was running which is right in front of the turret and right next to the driver (I experienced both angles as I only got to fire 1, they aren’t exactly cheap). In both instances the initial firing of the rocket motor was noticable. Now that maybe completely different to the jet, but either way a quick very low frequency thud would go along way to letting you know as the pilot that the missile came off the rails and that it means business. Again, that’s probably not accurate, but it’s a good way to tell you that stuff is happening. That and a better external sound would just be cool.

The ATC and AWACS and GCI must be able to think… it cant be used by recorded voices… when I fly the F16 RAS Sufa sim, which is diffrent than other sims, we must have comms in hebrew with guys that are trained to GCI job… For example we have such plan in the south, where we get into 5 diffrent areas with long range missiles, and we call up in hebrew and say ‘Shicago Shelanu’ meaning we are in Shicago ready to shoot down enemies - and then the GCI controllers will choose who is shooting who. If they got a Saudi F15 coming now into our areas in the south, the GCI will choose which of our F16I’s will shoot him down depending on Ammunition left, Fuel capacity, ranges and angels… our bullseye for example is called ‘Holland’… so I’ll report my Shicago and the GCI will give me a Holland to shoot down when needed… you cant do that by AI voices and the voices going like ‘2’s I think we’re close enough’ are interuppting real operations needed
If you are trying to convince people that humans brains are better than BMS AI , well it’s not that difficult
If you are lucky enough to fly only with humans and with humans awacs and ATC controllers , good for you your are a lucky man
However , giving advise to remove all comms from BMS by deleting falcon.tlk is just putting you in the top 10th of the most bullshit thing I ever read in 20 years of falcon sim experience
