Su flight model please

I was not 100% accurate. I know the AL-31F as a designation, but we do not have thrust curves. If anything was changed in air inlet control…
I will check how it looks other 4th gen. figter thrust curve in BMS4 to get some data what should be done with RPM 70 for Su-27, then I can make comparsion flights with my thrust data by using Tacview.

FM Su-27 in the BMS is completely incorrect. -
My skills and knowledge ends at thrust modeling.

aerodynamic data for Su-27 classified
what is in the public domain, is sufficient to construct the trajectory model

It’s fantastic
I have spoken only of a simple FM
For the advanced model, you will not find data on the network
You can contact with ЦАГИ http://www.tsagi.ru/rus/, this is a joke -
So far I’m happy with the low alt thrust characteristics with top speed at a max of 1.2 mach, still slower then the F-16 or F-15.
However:
Top speed @ altitude creeps up too 2.5mach which is above what it should be (2.0).
I’m looking at drag data and seeing values for Mach 2.5 that seem way to low.
Spent the last few days reserching “drag” & can still see no good reason for this deviation in the CD table.
Even a quick look at F-15/F14/F16/Mig-23/Mig-29/EF tells me it can’t be right.I will try projected values for the mach 2.5 breakpoint to stabilize top speed back to mach 2.0
But other then that its now flying with greater predictability & responsiveness.
-
I do not know the drag values, therefore for jets I’m to careful to touch them. In combat the subsonic and max. M1.4 range is important. Even with partially armed fighters rarely fly faster then M1.4.
(As I know generally a typical 4th gen, supersonic capable fighter - except MiG-25, but it is not 4th gen. - spend less than 2% of total lifetime in supersonic range.)
-
I do not know what engines have the MKK or MKIs. For me Su-27 is important, therefore I stick to original curves.
Not to shore what you are trying to say here moli, but I have used the thrust curves that Arty posted. (Thanks)
That was the whole point in the first place after finding the abberation in the default “Thrust” tables.
There is much data on the net covering the AL-31f family. And some of that info is old/outdated.
EG:
“The AL-31F engine is designed for installation in the Su-27, Su-30, Su-32, and Su-35 aircraft. The AL-31F Series 3 engine is designed to power the Su-33 aircraft.
The AL-31FN engine is a development of the AL-31F engine featuring both bottom and top gearboxes designed for the Chinese J-10A aircraft.
The AL-31FP engine is another development of the AL-31F engine with a swiveling nozzle for the Su-30MK.”And a quick referance

MiG-25’s engine data at, idle, mil power and with full AB!
This seems to me the ful AB data of MiG-23ML’s enginge.

Even though the AOA tape reads 30 degree.

AoA tape = ACMI? Bceause I asked where comes the AoA data.
Support
For missiles in Tacview, AoA values are based on the difference between the current course and previous one (0.5 second before). Because it is not applicable for such objects, the computation do not take into account the “aircraft” wings orientation.Me
Does this mean that AoA is counted from trajectory regardless that AoA comes from dat files aero data by using missile speed + turn radius?Support
That’s right, the AoA is actually calculated by Tacview. If the VHS files contains an AoA value, I should be able to display it soon because my advanced telemetry module begins to work.I discovered the issue during missile test. Falcon’s AoA display is almost close to 0, but in Tacview does not. (I have pro version.)

AOA “tape” in cockpit, not ACMI
Cockpit anolog display reads 30 while external view displays 33 degress
Edit: Ill do a screen shot of a constant speed/AOA/alt and then measure the values. Crude but of some worth.
PS, we are testing in MP.

what’s the limit of the analog gauge?
35 degree ……hits 30 and thats it.
Not to be trusted maybe ???

The in pit gauge will only display 30 degree max, not max actual AOA.
Problem sorted.
