Until now the kneeboard for both the F-16 and the M2000 are only saved into the Normal texture dir.
Let me explain a little more here.
Both kneeboards for the F-16 and the M2K are saved in hi-res already. But they are not saved in the hi-res directory as not everybody is using the hi-res option.
Saving the kneeboars in low res does make senseFor the F-16 this works as there is DDS for it in the hi-res directory. For the M2K the 1988.dds can be found on both the low-res and the hi-res.
Works fine if you don’t use the hi-res option, but in case you do use it, you will always end up seeing the same (unchanged) kneeboard.
SImple solution, just remove the 1988.dds from the hi-res directory and it will work just fine.Gr Falcas

I started a video and found where the problem is, unless it’s intended. IFF data is not loaded in WDP/DTC/IFF unless you answer you saved the DTC in the UI when the question is asked.
To make sure you have a “clean” IFF setting do the following:
Set all your the things you want in WDP. MFDs, EWS, Radios you name it.
Then jump into the mission and the flight you want to do.
When you jump into the mission (flight) the DTC will be set for COMMs and IFF.
Changing to a different flight you will (can) get different IFF settings. If you have data in WDP during this time and save the DTC in WDP… sure things are different.Gr Falcas

Thanks, yes that’s what I’m suggesting too (renaming rather) :P.
And for the IFF settings, yes. As this sounds like a workaround, I assume the way it behaves isn’t intended. I hope I could help.

Its not a work around, this is how it works. Can´t really do anything else.

Why answer yes? That is only in very special cases.

… Otherwise, IFF data is not recorded into the DTC. This is why saving while changing my MFD restore different values. Apparently it works differently for you, if I’m the only one affected by that in the world, I’ll live with it :).
I never answer yes, now I will for that reason.

Hi Falcas,
Sorry if this has been discussed here previously, I did search for post, but…
…I notice that the South Korea charts are not the ones used in the KTO Docs folder. They are also named differntly (WDP = <aiport>_airport.gif / BMS = <airport>_diagram.png). I, for my own personal use, have converted the PNGs to GIFs and renamed to suit WDP.
I was wondering if there was a reason not to use the BMS version? Or how difficult it would be to point at the BMS installed versions (I see the folder structures are different).
I’m happy to post my converted files, but wasn’t sure of legalities, etc.

Downloaded and working well.
And also, don’t forget to change your WDP version number on your left banner “News” of your web site to “WPD 3.7.14”.
Thank you Falcas for your great work. -

Hi
How do I add Somalia map to WDP
Thanks

I have a question about the “Support” area of the datacard. It lists tankers, AWACS, etc., but the bullseye location (LOC) seems very wrong to me. For instance, the stock Korea “Long Travel” .tac lists the “Texaco 1” location as 355 / 131. The actual station area for Texaco 1 is near the southeast coast of S. Korea but that 355 / 131 bullseye location is way up north near the border of DPRK and China. What does the “LOC” field indicate for Support flights?

Hi Falcas,
there is something wrong with the VIP setup for BMS 4.34 and WDP 3.7.14.140. VRP works perfect but for VIP I have found following problems:
- PUP point is not computed correctly in the DTC. The PUP point lands somewhere far beyond the target. I found a workaround in that I modify the Viper’s DED VIP page and set the VIP-TO-PUP to what the WDP tells me for TGP-TO-PUP (VRP setup)
- The OA2 is always placed below OA1, regardless whether I tick “Place OA2 at the Aim Off Point”
- to get the SOI onto the real target I have switch TMS right to IP on the FCR. Initially the FCR is set to TGT, which is actually the IP.
The VRP setup works fine although by default the FCR is set to TGT, which might not be a bug but is inconsistent with the WDP manual.
Regards,

The missions load fine and everything, but the I can;t generate the correct mapping?
