What got me was the music and your astute editing of it vis-a-vis the visuals…hook-lined-&-sinked me. Bravo.

Awesome! official TVT ?

I love the departure sequence. Only an experienced pilot knows that deploying gear will deploy TEF which in combination with speed brake deployment will accelerate the recovery (in case no yaw rate build up and large oscillation still , see TP1538 NASA page 28 ) GREAT job pilot , you saved an airframe , MPO would have been too slow

First of all I’m not sure what kind of computer you have, but in order to enjoy all of the eyecandy graphics in BMS with steady FPS in 4K resolution you still have to have high-end gaming PC.
My Rig:
- i9 9900K
- GTX 2080Ti
- 32 GB Ram
- 512 Gb SSD and 4 TB HDD
- 55" 4K TV and 27" FullHD Monitor
With that PC I have steady 120 FPS in 4k res.
Here is my config settings:https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/e1af/rzz2rhf99arstoj4g.jpg

Now, in the video i used only two things to enhanced the footage a little bit, but those effects can be easliy reproduced by using Reshade.

Here is difference before and after:

Thanks to all of you for your positive replies! This really means a lot for me.
I still can’t believe that only in 24 hours the video has reached 1K views with 100 likes! Amazing.I’ve started working on the movie back in november 2019 and recorded 1 TB of footage. Took me a while to segregate all of it and to find the best ones - but it was worth it.
how did you get reshade working for you? i’ve tried installing it on the bin folder to no avail, can you help me?
Ps: i might be asking to much but can you share your reshade preset? -

Ps: i might be asking to much but can you share your reshade preset? The pictures presenting effects before and after in previous post are taken from sony vegas studio and the last time I used reshade was couple years ago on my older rig and WIN 7 and older BMS version.
However, after reading your post I decided to give it another try today, but it seems like new reshade 4.5.4 doesn’t support BMS for some reason (or something wrong on my end) - It runs just fine in Il-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad though.
Maybe older version of reshade (if still available) would still works in BMS. -

Current reshade works with current BMS. You have to untick the “Disable fullscreen optimizations” then tick “Override high DPI scaling” and choose Application in the ‘Change high DPI settings’ menu on the Compatibility tab of the shortcut.
On that note, I found that my issues with my colors and how washed out they appeared on my 4k HDR TV were not due to anything GPU, display, or BMS related, but instead due to the native handling of HDR in Windows. BMS isn’t compatible with it and that’s what was washing out my color, giving me light gray cockpits, and causing overly bright nights. Turned off the HDR setting in Windows and my BMS now looks fantastic on my display with no reshade needed .

How did you deactivate HDR?

Windows 10? Right click desktop, click display settings, turn off ‘Play HDR games and apps’ about half way down the settings screen.

.I’ve tried the trick with “Disable fullscreen optimizations” and “Change high DPI settings” but still no joy. The overlay of reshade is not visible in BMS UI neither in 3D.

If you get to the 2d screen and you don’t see the reshade popup, it didn’t install correctly.
1. Run reshade’s .exe
2. “Click here to select a game…”
3. “Browse”
4. Find your Falcon BMS 4.34 install folder, navigate to Bin > x64. Select Falcon BMS.exe and then open
5. Select Direct3D9
6. Select all effects and choose OKWhen entering 2d you should see the reshade banner
