Sorry for the probably stupid question but i am a bit confused: Are those models going to be available for download (since we are in the community mods section) or are they going to be part of a future official BMS release?

Hello,
your question has nothing stupid at all !
In fact, as I am a member of BMS dev team, I always integrate my models in official releases. I want everyone to be able to access these models at the same time, no privileges for those who know how to use a new model compared to those who don’t know how to !
Also, I only work for KTO, I then chose to concentrate on these countries :
- Japan (I did UH-1J, AH-1S, Shirane class, Ohsumi class, F-104DJ, JGSDF vehicles F-2A on the way…)
- China (J-7G, J-8I, J-15, Su-35, J-20 …)
- USA (RQ-9, CH-47, Stryker, M109, M901), F/A-18E series to come…
- Russia (Sukhoi Su-27 series, Kuznetsov, Sovremeny, Kirov…), Su-34 to come soon, as promised for Mav-JP…
- South Korea (UH-1H) I might revise my judgement for F/A-50, but not sure.
- Taiwan (FCK-1C/D, UH-1D…)
Cheers,
Radium

Never heard about this aircraft… Is it a ground attack prototype of USA ?

Copy, thank you for this report.
We will fix that as soon as possible.

As I can remember I mentioned but I can’t find my comment.
Moskit on the Su-33 never was possible. Not even from land base. It is simple common misinformation. -

Do you have a proof of this ?
everywhere it is written that moskit is fitted for SU33 … , strange…
-
Not a proof, but the DB of CMO/CMANO does not list the P-270 being carried by the SU-33/J-15. The J-15 according to CMO, and corroborated by Janes, can carry the YJ-83K.
I looked into several Janes books in the last 20 years and could not find any reference about the Moskit being carried by any SU-27 variant.
The only place I found a reference about the SU-33 and P-270 is the wikipedia (and other general sites based on the wiki)……not a very good source, I guess.EDIT: I found the following info on the Janes Air Launched Weapons of 2001 and 2003:
“A trials model of the Kh-41 was displayed at the 1992 Moscow Air Show. The missile was thought to be in the final stages of
development and could have been intended as the replacement for AS-4Kitchen' and AS-6
Kingfish’ air-to-surface missiles.
However, reports in 1994 suggested that any air-launched Kh-41 missile would be too heavy for aircraft carrier operations and
that the programme was not funded from 1993. However, aircraft were still being displayed in 1996 with Kh-41 attached. In
1998, there were again proposals to fit this missile to the future Su-30/-32/-33 aircraft, for export to China and India.
Integration tests were completed in 1997, and two flight tests reported in 1998. It is believed that the ship-launched version,
P-270, will continue to be developed for possible fitment to later built Project 956ASovremenny 2' class destroyers as a replacement for the SS-N-22
Sunburn’.”After 2003, I did not find any entry anymore. Probably discontinued?!

Well…one only needs to reasearch properly.
Yefim Gordon writes in his book “SOVIET/ RUSSIAN AIRCRAFT WEAPONS” in 2004…In 1980 MKB Raduga brought out the Kh-41
anti-shipping missile designed for use both
by surface ships and as an air-launched
weapon carried by the Su-27K (Su-33) shipboard
fighter…
…
Due to its large size and weight the
Kh-41 can only be carried on a special pylon
on the Su-27K’s centreline, fitting neatly into
the tunnel between the air intake trunks.
…
The missile entered Soviet Navy service
in 1984 - initially in a surface-to-surface version
designated 3M80 and named Moskit
(Mosquito); in tube-launched form it was
carried by Molniya (Lightning) class fast
missile boats, Samoom (Simoom) class
hovercraft and Sovremennw (Modern) class
destroyers. (Note: The names mentioned
here are the Soviet names of the actual first
ships in the classes, not NATO codenames
like ‘Juliet class submarine’.) The airlaunched
version designated Kh-41 followed
later as a weapon for the Su-27K, the
Soviet/Russian Navy’s sole operational conventional
take-off and landing fighter type -
AFAIK there is no evidence (photo or video in flight) about possibility to carry Moskit by any variant of Su-27 (except static exhibitions)
Looks like only Su-30 MKI is able atm to launch supersonic ASM - Brahmos (export variant of P-800 Onix)
Besides there was reports about limitations of SU-33 TO weight due using ski jump on Kuzniecov -

I have seen so far 0 video and image about carry and / or launch it. It was just a PR / marketing / plan but it never was realized. -
They put also Yakhont on plate so it is defenetelly PR there. More or less there is a picture (static but still)
-
Is this a Moskit, isnt’?
And what about this one? Seems to be in the ramp….
And more one:
-
About first pic
Yup its a Moskit but entire weapon config is really strange - one long range ASM and 2 short range ARMs under fuselage… If i have good remember there are KH-27 (AS-12 Kegler)…Other photos are probably from Monino AF Museum

I think it was planned to put one in the Su27K (SU-33)….Janes wrote was cancelled. Yefim in 2004 does not write clearly that it was fielded and when. In all his books after that I could not find any reference to it.
There are some pictures but of acft in expositions…the last one above is of the SU-27K prototype…
Probably it was not really fielded. -
