Kuwait Theater tester version 2 (434U1)

That’s strange. No problem with this here. I would have guessed one of your ground units may take an installation with some problem related, but this exact 19:30:00 time speaks against it.
Did you edit the campaign in MissionCommander? There are units coming to life in campaign later. Maybe one base is overcrowded then or you deleted an essential unit?
The only “problem” I had was a crippled timeline in statistics, all data before day 1 10:00 became zero sometime during day 2. But I think it’s not related to your problem.
If you didn’t edit anything, you may try to restart the campaign, this behavior is not normal and shouldn’t reoccur on a second try.
Hi
Thanks Atze for your reply.
I actually don’t know the problem. I restart a new campaign and nothing happen after that.
I didn’t edit any thing. i was starting in my first time and that happen before. that time it keep freezing in day 2 @ 19:30. and i keep starting every time in my last save before that. once reach the 19:30 it hanged .
anyways. i start again and nothing occurred.cheers

I’ve just finished the campaign - coalition win! (and my first win!!)
Stared at the end of April (I started on the v7 mod and upgraded to v8 part way through) with a really tense and scary OCA strike that ended with me getting chased back over the border on full afterburner below 1000ft chased by a wall of mig 29’s
57 missions, 41 AA kills, 69 AG kills, 3 naval and 15 stationary targets later and it’s done.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, a really great theatre - thank you for all your hard work!

The campaign actually registered as a win in the logbook?
-
I am going to build a model and terrain tiles for King Khalid Military City airbase:
I’ll send the files to SpbGoro when complete.

Yep. clock froze (5 days 00:20), so I checked the logbook - win!

It’s fine! thank.
My current progress: the creation of a territory near Prince Sultan Air Base. Southeast of Riyadh.

I’m REALLY loving this theater, thanks to the Devs!
I do have a question . I notice I have a folder for Add-on Kuwait and a V8 version .
V8 is a newer file, and I thought it was a separate theater, but both have the same .lst entry- Add-On Kuwait\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\kuwait.tdf
Is my build 21393 the newest version? -
and a V8 version .
Is my build 21393 the newest version?
Your downloaded archive _V8 - is the latest version of the theater.
Build 21393 is your latest version of BMS 4.34. (this inscription is not related to the theater)

Does the Kuwait theater not have its own subforum here, can’t seem to find it ?
Thx,
JB -

Thx,
JBThat’s really a thing that should be created here by the Admin. Kuwait is one of the most complete theaters, both winnable and challenging.

Couldn’t agree more with you, dear mates.
Malc+SpbGoro= much more than a team only.
As simple as that, huh?Just can’t await for the next update…
With best regards.

Not trying to be a buzz kill but is there a reason why enemy ground vehicles barely show up in WPN page when using Maverick D’s?? Is anyone else having or had this issue? How to fix? Missile won’t lock because it doesn’t see anything and looking out of the cockpit the seeker indicator on the HUD is clearly around the target.
DISREGARD: I FIXED IT.
-
And how you did that?
-
And how you did that?
Deleted it. Not gonna fly a campaign that I can’t use the weapons that require an image to shoot if I can’t see the targets in it. Sensors as well, the contrast is not distinguished in mavericks or the lantrin pod. My hardware is above average and still couldn’t see anything.

First of all this is a great theater, brings back lots of memories as I am very familiar with this part of the middle east. Iraqis put up a spirited fight if you are the coalition side.
One question: Any way to import a more detailed map for playback in Tacview? The “default” one I was able to load lacks detail.

I am seeing the same thing but in all AG modes using the TGP. Though if I zoom in and out it will disappear, then reappear depending on zoom level. Usually the TGP will stay locked on but not always.

It is a good theater and all but the contrast is the only thing.

.I have copied this from another source.

I just have to copy the lines into these files or should i bring them into the right format too? Most of the lines are not starting at the most right place in every line.

Just copy the lines into your file. XML format does not care about indentation per line (it just makes it easier for humans to read).
As always when editing files manually like this. Take a backup copy before you begin, just in case you find out something really bad has happened and want to undo easily.
