Mission Commander beta release

Outstanding tool as usual Falcas !!
At last one can modify the number of ships tasked within a flight !
Thaaaaaanks so many for that
Yes, that is one of the options I like myself as well.
Have you seen the option that you can change the aircraft type? You are the only ONE who can revamp the full Falcon ugly old UI (user interface)
putting all your tools (wdp+mc+others) togetherHave any project about that ?
I use a different coding language than Falcon, so integrating will not happen.
Also the UI stuff in Falcon is very difficult to code I heard, so donāt expect many changes there.
Although you must agree that with BMS the look and feel of the UI has imporved.Gr Falcas

Thank you for making this sir! Just last night my buddy and I were wondering how to create a flight with 2 wing tanks but have the tanks empty and have the internal fuel at less than full load. This was to get us practicing refuelling. I hope with your program this is now possible.

Yes, this is very much possible with MissionCommander
Open your mission and navigate to your flight.
Then use the āfuel usedā box to change the fuel remaining. The amount you insert in the box is deducted from the total fuel for the loadout you have chosen.Enjoy,
Falcas

Not saying to NOT use Mission Commander for that purpose, just wondering why you wouldnāt just take off and dump fuel if all youāre attempting to do is practice refueling???

AHA! My friend did suggest the fuel dump but I thought the F-16 was unable to do this?
BTW, the mission we want to create is an air-start mission, but curious about the dump feature.

but curious about the dump feature.
Hell I canāt remember the key combo, Harlequin, someone, help us out.
Iāve only dumped fuel once and me forgets.

Thank you Falcas
My squadron storesā contents (weapon quantities) for a given squadron in F4Browse are different from these viewed in MC. In campaign, weapon selection for that given squadron seems to be compliant with my SSD settings. I can even use some new weapons Iāve created.
If this part of MC is still WIP or if Iām missing something (e.g. manually edit the storesā data) just ignore the above

Regards,
SilversonHi,
That is correct, they are not the same as in F4Browse. In MC you are looking at the stores that the squadron is actualy having in the TE/Campaign.
These values are stores in the te/cam file itself. At this time the lightblue colored grids are for viewing only. Still need to do a ton of coding

Hi Falcas,
First of all, thanks for this amazing tool.
Mostly, I change territories of the red and blue side for different scenarios.
I edited some missions with MC but after that all of territory changes (installations: CCC, political, logistics etc.) returned to default owners on the TE MAP. Is that normal? Thanks.
-
What i like the most about mission commander is that when you put the correct squadron patch in and the correct squadron name (number) ā¦ in the 3d world you have the corresponding skin set.
this is very cool, since you can do a package of 8 F-16 Block 50 from 2 different squadron, and each flight of 4 aircraft will have its respective tail skin.
Before no matter if it is a aircraft from the same squadron or not, all block 40 will have the same tail skin, and if you change the skin of your aircraft it changes the skins of the other ones.
nice one
spooky.

Thank you, very invaluable.

It goes without saying that that should not be the case. I will take a look at it.
Thanks for the report.Gr Falcas

Hi Falcas
My congratulations for everything
I have been trying to set the steerpoints over naval units but without success. I can put it and move it but in TE the ship donĀ“t follow it
Can you help me?
Thanks.
-
Hi,
That is something that I canāt help you with.
The ships will follow there STPT while in 2D world or if you are outside of the bubble.
Inside of the bubble they stop at the next STPT. There is no code for this in Falcon and still needs to be done.Gr Falcas
ps drop a note at the BMS coder to motivate them
