@ Toro
Please edit you 1st post and avoid advertising a playware product that never worked in BMS. PMC theaters for BMS are scams.

Ok and thanks my friend

I was just going to say ask Manos but I figured I’d scroll down and yep you saw it I hope to see you make this one next!

Bms campaign is not good at simulating battle against insurgents.
-
I must to (very sadly) agreed with you, dear Joker.
This is a matter we have to discuss better and more in deep one day, though.
Promised.With best regards.

I tried two attempts:
1. LB Corridors of Death. Insurgents have quite good material but they are in a limited territory, and quickly without any air support.
2. An ITO campaign I never released, back in 4.33. Figmo played it thoroughly. -
In the 4.32 days I had the Middle east theater in my possession. At that time the Danish Air Force was actively engaged in Inherent Resolve and flew out of Al Jabar in Kuwait. I made a small mini campaign (TE) and my virtual unit flew operations for the duration of the time RDAF was involved. We flew over Iraq all the way up north. Some long flights that required many visits to the flying gas stations. It was tedious to make the plans, I had to follow the reports on a daily basis to monitor the progress made by the coalition forces. More than 40 flights were made for every mission we flew. As time went on it came apparent that ISIL forces captured a lot of materiel on ground, so I needed to adapt that into our operations. For obvious reasons the aircraft and bases the ISIL forces captured in real life, was never a factor to consider since ISIL forces had no pilots able to make the aircraft fly. But we did have a challenging time making sure we did not hit own forces on ground, since all used the same type of equipment. In Afghanistan the situation is/was not the same. Here we talk about personnel with RPG’s and AK’s. So if any opposing forces would actually capture a tank, it would not a easy target to find in a large country like Afghanistan. So not really suited for a large campaign like environment.
The map is just to show how many reported ground units that was planned for. It is probably one of the biggest planning effort I have ever done.
Did not mean to derail the thread - just trying to add my experience with a fight against a insurgent structure you would find in Afghanistan

Don’t be worry, it’s proper to me instead.
Awesome, dear NIL. Warmest congratulations!I would like to fly it so much…
What do you think, would it be possble for you to convert it for one of the current Iraq theaters with MC?With best regards.
-
It would not be possible to recreate. It was done in a TE setup. Mission was flown, and a new build on the previous mission with the outcome of that was created. One week between every flight and we flew about 25 missions.
-
I see.
Well, thanks the same for your attention, dear NIL… I had to try anyway it was, you know.
I will continue with my usual weird experiments, then.
With best regards.
