Started by Dunc, April 19th, 2019 08:34and the trailer was released a day later:
Apr 20, 2019So I’m guessing if that’s anything to go by, about 21-28 days from now.

Can that hook be used on an aircraft carrier?
-
-
Question it will still require a valid Falcon4 Instal to instal it?
-
Can that hook be used on an aircraft carrier?
In BMS You can land on a Carrier even now, the hook will work, catch the wire, and stop the plane. But you cannot retract it (IRL need assistance from the ground crew). This can only be used in an emergency.
IRL is different, it was not designed for carrier landing, nor the plane or the hook either. If it can survive the “impact” on the deck, and the stiff wire, it would probably cause serious damage of the plane. This emergency system is much more gentle on the airfields. The aircraft can flaring during landing and the path is much longer until the plane will stop.

Will DX11 mean the game will easily minimize without crashing?

Than you very much, to all works that you have done.

A big thank you to all involved.
The DX 11 implementation I believe would bring in development in the graphic/3D side of the sim.
VR rendering perhaps. This would be awesome.Seasons greetings to all.
