Hi, asw,
I’m trying to think back to my Saitek days….I was never able to get the x-65 microstick to work with axis’. I believe my final solution was to set the m’stick as banded, with the key commands set as single key commands. Single key as in down arrow instead of shift + down arrow, for example. It was my experience that Saitek sometimes got wonky with combo-commands. -
I am not sure by what do you mean with beserk. Anyhow, it works well on both of my devices with Flounder’s files. You can try them out.

Let me explain. When I engage radar cursors they continue to move across the screen, and it changes between the azimuths ranges.

I had this issue some quite a long time ago. Probably before BMS. You will find a lot of solutions regarding this subject in the Joysticks & Input Devices/Saitek section of this forum.
Do not forget to set step 5 about which is Falconeer writing regarding his profiles
https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?41079-X52-Pro-Falconeer-HOTAS-Profile-for-BMS-4-35I have checked what was the way Flounder did in the files I am using. He defined 4 keys for the cursor movement in BMS and then set them in the X52 profile: the left cursor key as Mouse X Axis 0%-33%=Radar Cursor, Mouse X Axis 33%-67% Do Nothing. And so on.
Actually I am so much satisfied with it that I did not notice it worked in one speed. It is still very precise to move the cursor and fast. I have it on two sets of X52pro devices without any issues.

I had the same issue and other people too (as seen in the link Ambrzyk posted below and this thread). Personally, I preferred the way where you can keep using the ministick as an analog cursor for slewing instead of turning it into bands using the Logitech/Saitek software. Here’s how I fixed it, which is basically the same way explained everywhere else: you reorder the stick/rudder axis, so it becomes available.

Good for you. I myself will stay with the cursor binded until I get an additional device under my feet. Still need rudder for the 1% of flight, but very important last moment of flight in crosswind situations: flare, idle, de-crab, counter/keep direction, touchdown.

You don’t have to give up the rudder axis. You can switch it with the slider axis for example or anything else that you don’t need.

Yes, I switched my slider for the rudder.
The slider I have bound to bands for DGFT/MRM OVRD/Cancel.

Thanks justonce and CriticalMass. I prefer to stay with what I have, like FOV (on the slider), radar tilt, rudder and wpn FOV. All of them are important in terms of using the avionics or letting the small monitor to show details as it would be possible in RL. I still have the mini stick with the cursor and it is good enough the way it is. Just different. I will stay this way until either getting a dedicated device for the rudder/NLG steering and brakes or maybe I will take advantage of my kids car wheel set. Anyhow, I wonder how you guys steer during taxi without the rudder axis on X52 unless you have a dedicated rudder device?

I use the “Enable Roll-linked NWS” option, which enables you to use the joystick to steer on the ground. I also have the 2 buttons on the joystick (buttons B and C) mapped to the rudder which I use when in the air. Those 2 buttons were unused in my setup, so I assigned them to the rudder. They’re digital which is a drawback, but good enough for corrections during landing.

Dear asw200, you need to choose. Either give up the rudder or assign the mini stick to keys. The drawback for the second method is that it makes it a digital steering (one speed, just as if you pressed cursor keys on the keyboard to move the cursor on the MFD/HUD). Which one you choose?
