Version 4.34.5, 05/29/2020
This is a quick update because I made a mistake yesterday in v4.34.4. I incorrectly coded the COM ICP controls for UHF/UVF transmission. That’s fixed in this update. And while I’m at it, I made a few other changes that I would get around sooner or later. Might as well be now. Here’s today’s changes:
changed Shift H2L from SimCBEOSB_9L to OTWCheckSix
changed Shift H2D from SimNextAGWeapon to SimRadarSnowplow
changed Shift H2R from SimRadarSnowplow to OTWGlanceForward
changed Shift H4R from OTWGlanceForward to SimDriftCO
changed Unshift MSU from SimICPCom2 to SimTransmitCom2
changed Unshift MSD from SimICPCom1 to SimTransmitCom1All my files are available via post #1 of this thread, “jc1 Profile”.

changed APDIS Shifted from SimParkingBrakeCycle to SimTrimApDisc

Removed all LED and backlight code related to Autopilot because I found out Thrustmaster Target tmc code can’t access Windows shared memory, which is needed to properly handle all Autopilot limits
Provided LED and backlight code for the AVTR functions on Shift LTB. LED1=AVTR ON, (LED1 & LED2)=AVTR AUTO, (No LED)=AVTR OFFAll my files are available via post #1 of this thread, “jc1 Profile”.

Everything I got is working fine but I’m not sure what you tested.
Did you put jc1.key in Falcon BMS 4.35\User\Config
Did you put jc1.tmc in C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\Target\scripts
Does the BMS Setup/Controller show Thrustmaster Combined
Does your first line in Falcon BMS 4.35\User\Config\DeviceSorting.txt have Thrustmaster Combined
Does the Target Device Analyzer show the switches and buttons working
Does BMS Setup/Controller show the keypresses in the Input section of the screen -

Hey JC1, its long time since we spoke took a break for a while but, I’m back again. When we first spoke I wanted to have the shift button on S3 instead of S4 I’m an old user of Muds on page 3 of this thread you gave me a way to switch back to S3. My question is will it still work?. And by the way thanks for the note on power management I was having a problem, not anymore.
Thanks Rhino -
Hi Rhino,
Glad you’re back into BMS Falcon. Since 4.33 there were a lot of changes to key file that necessitated changes to tmc file. So the way to switch back on page 3 won’t work.
-
Well Hell, is there a way to do it, or should I say could you give me a hand. I’ve never been good at writing script and it been almost a year since I’ve even tried. It would be greatly appericated. everything else works and as you know yours is the only file I trust because always works.
Thanks, Rhino

Hi Rhino,
I’m providing some changes to my jc1.key and jc1.tmc file. These changes will allow you
to use my Warthog profile using the Pinky as the shift switch instead of the Paddle switch.
I’m gonna continue to stay with the paddle switch as shift key. These changes are good for anyone who likes my profile but prefers the Pinky for shifting.
jc1.tmc file
change line 65 to SetShiftButton(&Joystick, S3);
change line 134 to //keyfile controlled //Pinky for shifting only
change line 136 to //Paddle //S4 DX4
change line 137 to MapKey(&Joystick, S4, TEMPO(PULSE+F12, DX4, 250));
change line 138 to //Short:TrackIR Center, Long:SimAPOverridejc1.key file
change line 1386 to SimHotasPinkyShift 2 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1 //DX3 on the pinky
change line 1389 to SimAPOverride 3 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1 //DX4 on the paddle
change line 1471 to SimHotasPinkyShift 258 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1 //DX3 on the pinky
change line 1475 to SimDoNothing 259 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1 //DX4 on the paddle -
Hey jc1, I made all the changes the other day and everything is working just right. As far as waypoints go I’m just using the rocker switch. It’s not a problem at all. Thanks for taking the time to put together the script. It makes everything so much better for me as you know I have always used the S3 switch. Short fingers I guess.
Thank you again, Rhino

Take another look at post #51. I edited it to add a change to line 65. This will enable the Pinky shift to work with all callbacks, including waypoints.

Yes, I saw that you had added that one so the Coolie switch is back working with Waypoints? Cool, I was just using the rocker which was Ok also but, that’s even better. Hey, there have been a lot of changes since 4.33 and 4.34. Do you have to be on the right frequency for things like tower, tanker, wingman things like that? I was out doing a refresher fly on #11 or something and when I bring up the menu their blank? What’s up with that I figure radio.
Thank again for the work, Rhino

The place to put the tmc file is C:\program files(x86)\Thrustmaster\Target\scripts
I don’t have MFD devices and jc1.tmc does not handle MFD devices.
