Thanks everyone for the support! Been a hard month with a lot school assignments, work and more stuff I won’t bother you with, but trust me, After the F-16A release by JanHas I couldn’t be more exited to finish this baby!:D
As always fly safe mates!EDIT: Oh and btw, There’s a little surprise for my Venezuelan friends;)

Dunno if you are familiar with this video, but there is a whole cockpit tour in russian:
I saw it in falcon lounge, maybe it could help
Where is available such a nice F-16 pit? Which museum is this?
-
ENG: So, I’ve started the process of making 3 different paintjobs of the Venezuelan Vipers:
The classic paintjob (the normal all Venezuelans and Foreigners know.), The CEO-DIR 119 paintjob (A modernization that the Air Force planned to be done on 2018 but it hasn’t been made yet on the F-16s), and finally but not least one I’m designing that will remain secret until release.;)
ENG: In order to clarify the CEO-DIR 119 paintjob here’s a few pictures of how it should look:
ESP: Para clarificar el trabajo de pintura CEO-DIR 119 aquí algunas imagenes de como se debería ver:
ENG: Here’s a real life example on another aircraft:
ESP: Aquí hay un ejemplo en otra aeronave:
ENG: And finally the ongoing design for JanHas F-16A
ENG PD: All the paintjob update posts will also include an Spanish translation for those who have a hard time translating the post.:)

Video is in polish. It’s a maintanence/painting trainer, currently in military maintenance facility in Bydgoszcz (WZL #2)

It must have been annoying looking around that HUD camera? To think in the late 60s they could design a sophisticated aircraft like the F-16 but couldn’t figure out how to put the camera in front of the HUD and overlay the symbology like they do now. lol

Long time no see! (Yet again :p)
This weekend I had enough time to sit and start modelling the right console and I’m pleased to tell ya it’s finally done! Which brings me really close to finishing the 3D modelling aspect of my pit! For more info please do check the first post, Progress tracking has been updated.
-
This looks awesome!
-
Even without textures, this looks so freakin’ good! I really hope you can finish it. I can’t see why the BMS Devs or the Theater Devs, shouldn’t integrate this amazing work into their own.
The future of BMS is bright my friends! -

Thanks Steve!

Avionics wise, not by me at least, modelling the SCP and REO avionics are something only the BMS devs can do (since for that I’d need access to BMS code and well, I’m not a BMS dev, also I lack the coding knowledge, but if someone is up to the task hopefully we’ll be able to see it in the future

Hi Rypley, I know we all should be patient, but it’s been awhile. Any updates on this “insane” project?!
-
Hello! Long time no see!
So I’m gonna cut to the chase, I’ve done 90% of the overall modelling work, I was going to call it 90% but after seeing how some parts could definitely get some justice, the other 10% will be me checking and redoing models where’s necessary, as of right now, I just remade for the 4th time since doing this project (or 5th?) the glareshield 'cuz it did need some remodelling, don’t worry, I don’t think I’ll need to remodel more than 20% of it… Probably, my standards since starting have definitely gone up a lot so you can expect some quality stuff right 'ere.
Unfortunately I haven’t got pictures yet for this post but I’ll update ASAP

Here it is!
The old glareshield:
The new one:
As you can see it needed a heavy rework, also, made the emer. lights on the left a little bit elongated and less tall
(notice how the HUD camera cable clips through the center panel, that’s because that’s getting redone again. -
@rypley nice man, keep it up.
-
The COckpit is over ?
Any have the model ? -
Hmm long time no post, I hope Rypley and this project is still alive and well.
BTW I found a F-16A pit video taken in AirForce Museum in Dayton Ohio, it has some nice details. Might be useful for a reference material both for 3D mdel and avionics code.
