Are there commands that I can program on my HOTAS to switch between the various radar submodes
i.e RWS / TWS 30x60 etc etc -

Actually, there are a couple of ways. Holding TMS right will cycle between RWS and TWS. Also, there are commands for Radar AA Mode Step and Radar AG Mode Step. -
@jack72 - selecting scan volumes via HOTAS isn’t a RL thing, so unless you are willing to give up some HOTAS function or use shift keys, it’s not “programed” into BMS per se…
…however, you can alter your defaults using WDP, and I think you can even set up defaults for each track mode. Been a while since I’ve done that, you may want to check into it.
OK - I checked into it…there I go confusing BMS and RL again, with WDP. Mea Culpa.

These three images from the manual(s) are most relevant - like drtbkj said, TMS has special functions as well as others depending on the current sub mode:

i.e RWS / TWS 30x60 etc etcIf you want two specific radar modes then it’s best to set up one in AA and one in MSL and use the dogfight switch to swap between. But if you just want to adjust a small aspect of the current mode hands on then…
Range: cursor bump top/bottom
Azimuth: cursor bump left/right
Bar: no hands on
RWS/TWS: TMS right long
VSR/LRS/ULS: no hands onAG FCR modes, that’s all hands off except for range bumping and hands on gain control.
