<p>Hello people,<br /><br />Some more news about my Su-34.<br /><br /><img class=“ql-image” src=“https://i.imgur.com/QiM0mE0.jpg” /><br /><br /><img class=“ql-image” src=“https://i.imgur.com/slG5w0P.jpg” /><br /><br /><img class=“ql-image” src=“https://i.imgur.com/AU98SQE.jpg” /><br /><br />This weekend, I added a very important of details everywhere.<br /><br />Aircraft is now close to it’s final looking but I really wanted to be a bit excessive in term of details, so, you may expect some more !<br /><br />Btw, refuel drogue is still missing, I will make it soon.<br /><br />Cheers !<br /><br />Radium<br /><br /><br /></p>

<p>Hello,<br /><br />this week, I had some time to work on my Sukhoi Su-34.<br /><br />I really spent a lot of time on gears bays and doors, and added a lot of (maybe too much ?) details.<br /><br />I also did a lot of little updates everywhere, to get something really accurate.<br /><br />I also now realize that I will have a very hard time doing gears animations but it’s gonna be a funny challenge.<br /><br />It will be the most detailed fighter aircraft I would have done for BMS. And it’s far over 30k in term of tri-count !<br /><br /><img class=“ql-image” src=“https://i.imgur.com/vV95R8J.jpg” /><br /><br />Most of the aircraft is now there. I still have to work on engines bulges on the top of the aircraft. <br /><br />After that, I will merge both halves, and I will finish the last details before going to the uvw board, then texture baking, then texturing, then animating and everything.<br /><br />I expect an initial release for early July 2022, not before, as I wish to have the most beautiful Su-34 as possible.<br /><br />Best regards,<br /><br />Radium</p>

<p>@Radium <br />looks excellent as always, my only concern is the impact on frame rate? Does BMS support LOD switching so at long distance less complex models are displayed?</p>

<p>The impact and on fps comes from the quantity of dof (moving parts).<br /><br />The quantity of triangles in mesh is becoming less and less an issue…</p>
