Your day will come.......

@MnMailman Not sure about the blips but yeah I definitely have to zoom in, to read the bullseye coords, or to read any of the info from TGP screen.

It’s worth spending 30 min to setup RTT to “extract” the MFD displays onto little overlay windows. You can control the size and placement, to your eyes liking.

@airtex2019 That sounds interesting, but what is RTT ?

I tried and I couldn’t do it…default radar blip size that is…my 63 year old eyes needed to enlarge the radar blips. <img src=“/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f601.png?v=dsk3o53jm16” alt=“” class=“not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji–grin” />

could try this

@CriticalMass Right, that is what I did, thanks.

@MnMailman cool.

I’m only 3 years behind you but luckily haven’t needed this option… might be fooling myself

@airtex2019 That sounds interesting, but what is RTT ?

RTT (RTTClient64.exe) is a remote display extractor created by Dunc back in the 4.33 days. It is located in the x:\Falcon BMS 4.35\Tools\RTTRemote folder. It will extract certain gauges and the MFDs to coordinates you set in the RTTClient.ini file onto your main monitor or secondary monitors.
The list of available extractions using RTTClient is:
# HUD
# PFL
# DED
# RWR
# MFDLEFT
# MFDRIGHT
# HMS
Using this has little to no impact on frame rates on most modern machines. I used to use this for my MFDs and Helios to extract the other gauges I wanted to see more clearly/easily (RPM/Fuel Flow/Fuel Qty/Heading/AOA/VVI, etc). Now they fixed the MFD in Helios so I just use the one tool for everything, including the Center pedestal moving map… <img src=“/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f60a.png?v=dsk3o53jm16” alt=“” class=“not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji–blush” />

About your OP title, we have a saying here in Greece : εκεί που είσαι ήμουνα, εκεί που είμαι θα’έρθεις. It means : where you are I have been, where I am you will come. So here here to larger radar blips!

@Icer Thanks Icer, I’m definately going to investigate that. Nice set up ! Btw, are you the Icer from back in the SimHQ days ?

I have used Icer since the early 90’s and was pretty active on SimHQ and Frugals so yes, I guess I am! <img src=“/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f60a.png?v=dsk3o53jm16” alt=“” class=“not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji–blush” />
