@Sniper-0 hi, its pretty easy, I make a copy of the original folder “objects”, and I duplicate this folder for the mods. Inside of the “Objects” folder for the mods, you need to put the files of the folder “more models” included in janhas models, and the files of “3dbuilder” inside of the folder of tools, in the main game folder. All those files into “objects” folder (for the mods) and open the extractDB file, this create some folders, the most important is “parents” folder, in this folder you need to put all the folders of the “models” folders of the janhas models and remplace them.
Now you are ready to remplace the skins of the models, copy the dds files of the “Skin” models to the “KoreaObj” folder of the main game (for security you have a copy of tje “objects” folder).
And remplace the .afm and .dat files in the “Sim” folder, in the correspondent folder “acdata” (i’m not sure of the name right now) and for the leadder, need to remplace with the folder with the name of the plane inside of “leadder” folder of the janhas model, into the “artcockpit” in the “art” folder of the main game.
If you make all this, now you go to the modded “objects” folder and open the “buildDB” and when it’s finished copy the three files, KoreaObj.HDR
KoreaObj.TEX KoreaObj.LOD
And remplace this three files in the “objects” folder from the main game. For security dont delete the folders “objects” (modded folder) because you now can use this folder to continue modding the game and simple like repeating all the last steps (put in parents the models, remplace skins, and files, build and remplace in main game folder)
Sorry my english and if I dont remember some names of files or folder, im doing this of memory hahah

Hi there Jan, amazing work ! I just wanted to point out that the USAF Block 40/42 CM fleet is being fitted witht he AIFF bird slicers antenna in fron tof the Canopy.
Here, Block 42CM from the Oklahoma ANG:
-
Oklahoma and Ohio ANG Block 42s have had AIFF for some years now . This is from 2019:
Are the remaining active duty USAF Block 40s getting that with the APG-83 and IVEWS upgrades do you know?
-
Anyone tried updated weapons yet?
-
Hi Buddy,
ANG and the Actice USAF don’t have the same upgrade programs in terms of software and avionics. Which was a pain with the A-10C upgrade between guard units and the active.
The active Block 40 and 50 will be brought to the V standard while ANG units are having other plans. They may merge at the end.
-
Yes, my CM-42 already has the AIFF. The Stingers were one of the first to get those (and HTS).
My guess is what the USAF wanting a high/low fleet the F-16’s all will get the new center console and APG-83.
-
SDANG have the only US Block 40s with AIFF antennas I have seen so far.
-
@Migbuster yes but the Block 40 in Korea or Balkans does not have them.

iirc we have that tail squadron in block 30 and not 40 in the db, i mean of course in official db.
Cheers

@dema I guess the only way to accurately depict that would be to have 2 versions of the Block 40 and Block 42…one with AIFF and one without AIFF

Can be done with type 21 poly’s…? Have the poly’s there and let a texture decide if the AIFF is shown. If not a transparent section on that texture. My only worry is the shading… will a invisible poly create a shade…
-
@JanHas I guess it could be tried. I didnt know you could do that with textures.

There is an issue with the F-16I textures. The F-16DG Block 40 IAF uses textures 4248 and 4247, but so does Jan Has F-16I. I am going to fix it for the skin pack, but just know that there is an issue and hopeful Jan Has will find some not used textures for these for the F-16I
