Stock is POV U/D/L/R, with my Dx128 TARGET script running it puts out DX19/20/21/22…
-
@Icer Those DX are the DX for Thrustmaster TARGET software. I’m asking about the DX related to Alternative Launcher.

DX19/20/21/22… that’s what AL 2.1.0 show
Two questions:
Where does AL show this?
Also, are you running Target128 before you run AL? -
@jc1
I dont have a Target script running. For me this is shown as POV without any DX numbers. -

Also, are you running Target128 before you run AL?In AL KEYMAPPING tab, Bottom left of screen to the right of “ASSIGNMENT” will show your current keypress.
I run my TARGET DX128 script 100% of the time, for all sims I own. The only time I disable it (since 4.36 and AL 2.1.0) is for threads i’m trying to help in… so yes, it runs before I start AL.

Could it be that issues arise when you enter the setup in game? Wanted to check rudder calibration, thereafter the game seems to crash on start.

I installed the Israel Theater and when I open the “theater config”, AL 2.1 is crashing giving following error in the Launcher_Log.txt :

I got 3 problems with Alternative Launcher.
One, the names on the Axis Assignment page are not correct for the devices . I have TM Warthog Joystick and Throttle and CH Pedals. Even though the names are not correct the devices function as they should in game.
Two, if I set AB any lower, like at 75%, than shown in this image
the AB will kick in about 1/2 way before I reach the physical detent on the throttle.
Three, I cannot taxi unless I go to afterburner.
Due to the problems I got with AL, I wonder if the incorrect names indicate a more serious problem within the AL code. -
@Falcon316 hmm possibly the theater config file name changed for 4.36 ITO? I’ll check.
-
@jc1
sorry for making another work for you but…
can you:- backup the XMLs in User/Config
- Remove XMLs
- Record video of assigning process
I’d like to see how I can repro the AB detent issue.
For the “No taxi unless AB” issue, it seems your wheel brakes are applied fully in-game while your physical pedals are not. Try “Invert” them on AL.
-
@jc1 Here’s a video of Taxiing using TARGET.
which I can’t do using AL. I’ll have to go back using TARGET until Alternative Launcher gets fixed for its inability to correctly name my devices on the AL Axis Assignment page. Until AL can correctly set my AB detent And can correctly get the jet taxiing without using afterburner. -
@chihirobelmo Regrettably before I saw your post I followed it saying I would go back to TARGET. Now that I got to read your post I’ll do what you ask and post the results later.
-
@chihirobelmo I made the video for you that you asked. It’s six minutes long, but I’ll say it’s 3 parts.
1. 00:00 to 01:21 has the stick and throttle assignments you wanted to see.
2. 01:22 to 05:39 has rudder assignments and taxiing. Like you said I inverted and that fixed the taxiing issue. But don’t look because it looks like I was driving drunk because I wasn’t sure exactly what got inverted. Anyway, later I got the inverts right and taxiing is not an issue. Thanks.
3. 05:40 to 6:00 shows some afterburner lighting up. The reason I wanted to show this was because all that AB lighting up occurred about 80% to 100% of the travel leading up to my physical detent. When I reach the physical detent I’m at full AB. I think the AB should light up after I reach the physical detent. -
@jc1 Video is private

One - why do you have anything assigned to “Throttle Right”? Clear it.
Two - your AB should activate (where the Warthog Detent is) about 75% of travel. You cant set it that way in the “Assign” window?
Three - It appears your toe brakes are fully engaged, you need to invert those axis’s if that is true. Could be why your jet isn’t moving?Here is what mine (functions perfectly) looks like. Throttle is pushed forward to the AB detent, toe brakes relaxed (off):

@CriticalMass Sorry for that. I just made it public.
