It grieves me to bring this up, for I know how useful this wonderful piece of software has been during the past updates to BMS Falcon.
With the BMS Falcon 4.36 update, if you run the Misson Commander program, and make any changes such as add a squadron or resupply the squadron stores, and then use the save option. When you open the saved campaign, you may as I have found, have no aircraft at any of your bases. Or have only a bare minimum of bases. I wish to high heaven that I knew how to code in Microsoft Studio to be able to help solve this issue. However, I have complete confidence that there are avid enthusiasts of this flight sim out there who would love to work on these problems.Sincerely,

Guys, when you state an issue and someone is answering and trying to help, please give a feedback so that we can clean up the forum from unresovled issues.
-
And why would you do this? As this is not needed at all. When making changes to squadrons this is done automatically
-
From what you write its not clear what you mean.
As you write not having aircraft on the airbase?
What do you mean with this?
MC does not delete aircraft from squadrons unless you force it to do so. (Manually)
But as this doesn’t make sense, the only option what I can think of is that you mean flights and not aircrafts.Flights are only removed when you move a squadron from one airbase to another. But also here, only for specific types of flights. However this is only done for the Squadron concerned.
So still what you describe doesn’t make any sense.

An habit I took from 4.35. I clearly saw it solved a problem of squadrons not appearing on the map in several campaigns of different theaters.

@LorikEolmin
It can’t be a habit from 435 as this was never needed in MC. It has always been done automatically in the background when needed. It might have been a habit from TacEdit… but then we are talking from way way back.
On a slight serious note. Careful not to create or stick with old myths.
-
Concerning what you might have seen with other theaters… I have seen soooo much happening with other theaters I really wonder why things run and work anyway.

I think you don’t get it. I had a problem with squadrons not appearing. I did that. It solved it. You asked a question, I’m answering.

Sure, things can always happen (go wrong )
I will be the last one to say things will always go as planned. And that is why that feature is still there as a backup.
But using it any time you change anything with a squadron is a bit on the far side of the spectrum.Having a repro case where this would happen is more interesting anyway

Of course, if I find one, I’ll send it to you.
And guess what? OP might have one. Let’s let him test?..
(if he ever replies)
