Taiwan Theater 4.36.3
-
@razo When you say that, I remember that this phenomenon did happen last night.
I have upgraded to u2. Do you want to delete the current Taiwan battlefield and wait for the Taiwan repair patch? -
@Jackal3330 Yes, you should remove the theater for now and wait for the update to this theater.
-
@razo OK

@Osprey
Very nice and fast update! Thanks a lot! -
Good morning (according to my local time, of course), Gentlemen.
Here they are: link text. These are my custom missions for this challenging theater, an updated version of those I made for Taiwan 4.35.3.
I tried to as more faithful and tactically reliable too as I could, but all can be made better, naturally.
So, please be patient with me and bear those errors you could find in there - but please let me know what weird or wrong you have found out in each of them, please.
Two of these seven TEs have to be flown, from the blue side, by ROC: they are “Battle Orders” and “Feet Dry”. But no one is denying you here to fly them on the red side all, it would be interesting instead.
I tried, besides, to fulfill our @Armagedon 's wishes about the Ospreys, so I inserted one in “Ellypsis”.
But it has been the first time for me to try an airlift task, and an interesting tactical challenge at the same time, a little like adding a refueling possibility within (and you all know well what I am telling you, I guess). So if I didn’t succeed, please forgive me bout, or give me more hints, better.
You will find a customized “Ppt.ini” version: please consider to use it carefully, it’s very useful when planning “what to do and how” before going out and wild.A last little word to this theater devs.: it was fun for me this time too. And this time too I’d like more than pleased (honoured would be the more proper word) if you would consider this one my little contribution to your efforts and hard work this time too, so please feel free to insert those in your future upgrades.
Have fun… and positively don’t try these ast home,
With best regards.

Issue :
Taiwan OFM 1.4.2 can be install and run OK.same computer same day:
Taiwan OFM 1.5 can be install ,
but Taiwan OFM 1.5 can Not run. -
@oneeast00 Is your BMS KTO updated to U2 already?
-
@Osprey Do you want to delete Taiwan OFM 1.4.2 and install Taiwan OFM 1.5.1? That means 1.4.2 is no longer needed after the main body 'U2 is installed?
-
@Jackal3330 Delete everything, uninstall previous version of Taiwan theater and ONLY install the latest version.
-
@Osprey OK,thank you
-
@Osprey , When will the Taiwan map be available on WDP ?
-
@Osprey
Thank you…
Problem has be solve now…
Taiwan OFM 1.5 only for BMS KTO in U2.
Taiwan OFM 1.42 only for BMS KTO before U2. -
@Jackal3330 , For any Theater in the in Chuckles/Osprey/OFM group, you can generally say that if the download title does not include “Hotfix” ,then you uninstall the old and replace.

Speaking of Hotfix’s, I noticed 2 things in Taiwan regarding the F-35C. First, the cockpit setup had changed slightly with the addition of a rwr/gauge/HSI display select on the center MFD’s OSB 6. Also, the throttle wouldn’t go to full MIL, although 'burner did work.
Here are the fixes, plus a Readme on installation

https://www.mediafire.com/file/269q9gw4zeguz74/F-35_cockpit_files_Readme.txt/fileThese fixes should work in the F-35A and B as well, Butt they haven’t been tested there. So, as usual, back up the originals

@drtbkj , @ Osprey , is it also possible to put some approach lights leading to runway 08 at Basco Airbase ?
