Typhoon FGR4 Improvement
-
@Jackal I was already planning to paint it in ITAF colors. I just didn’t mention it above. Because there are already RAF and Germany skins in BMS.
-
New landing gear
-
New air intake and afterburner effect.
-
Great work. Do you also intend to work on the German 3D model?
For the British one you might change the anti-collision light colors (that one on the back and beneath the airintake) from red to white and remove the covert lights from it. Maybe a reassignment of the store station numbers would be helpful to get all relevant stations to show up on the SMS/SJ pages.
-
@Scorpion82
I am currently planning to paint only in Italian colors. Because Germany skin is available in BMS. -
I’m talking about the 3D model changes, or is your work affecting both? Screenshots and title imply the british variant is being worked on only?

I’m just awaiting her… what else more should I tell here?With best regards.

I have completed my project. You can download the Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon skin from the link below.
Improvements I’ve made:
New pilot helmet
New pilot wear
New ejection seat
New cockpit and canopy parts
New mirrors
New avionics etc.
New landing gear
New air intake
New afterburner effect
New some minor fixes etc.Install:
1- Back up the original files in the “Your Drive:\Falcon BMS 4.36\Data\Your Theater\Terrdata\Objects\KoreaObj” folder.
2- Copy and replace the new files you downloaded with the original files.
A request from the BMS development team:
The Eurofighter Typhoon 3D model in the BMS simulator is incredibly compatible with the real aircraft. Perfectly modeled. However, as I mentioned in my messages above, the landing gear and canopy are a little different from the real aircraft. The 3D model will become even more perfect if the landing gear and canopy are corrected.

Listen, dearest bro: not only she’s pretty. because you made her pretty. Not only she’s very well detailed, because you were skilled so much to make her this way.
But she’s able to fly like hell!
And she belongs to the 36° Stormo of the Apulian AMI Gioia del Colle Air Base - my home, practically (I’m from Bari, almost 40 Km. from there).Well, it’s not my beloved Tornado, and will never be in my heart either, but I but I can still feel almost satisfied - hold back, I said “almost” here
With a huge lot of thanks, my best compliments for the awesome resulta of your hard work and best regards.

Just want to make sure @Manos1981 is aware of that texturing revamp
-
Good job on the visuals. Wonder however what you did with regard to the avionics? Stores loadout is off as well, Storm Shadows aren’t physically possible on the inboard pylons and the tanks are apparently not the standard 1000 L SFT either. What tank model did you use?

@Scorpion82
And everyone here…
Currently theres other priorities in 3d models than the Typhoon. Burak has no access on the 3d model files so he cannot do much. I am the creator of the model and i have the source files. When the time permits will be updated as it supposed to be.
Im aware of the shorter Wheels and i already have fixed that. Not sure though the files on BMS server are updated.
As i said other priorities are in hand now.
@buraktunahan I would like next time ask first for permission to work on it. You can procceed and conitnue to work on the textures. What @dema shared with you is the original PSD i gave him to work on skins with permission of course. I would like when everything is set to have the copy so we can implement on our side the changes as wellPeace

@Jackal Dear friend, I’m so glad you like ITAF Typhoon. I wish you a good flight.
@Manos1981 Hi Manos1981
First of all, congratulations for this excellent 3D model and template file. You really modeled an excellent aircraft.
On the other hand, when dema shared the temlate file with me, I thought I had all the permissions to paint the aircraft. But now I realize that I misunderstood. Sorry for this misunderstanding. In a very short time, I will send you the additions I made to your template file by pm
-
@Manos1981, @buraktunahan and @dema as well:
If I daresay a simple word, I would make clear that my comment here was intended just to let know how much I - as Italian, an Italian fighters aficionado - appreciated the way the EFA looks now, without neglecting the hard work all of you spent in making her a great plane and fit to Falcon current quality and flying standards.
Fine that all has been cleared among each of you, good friends of mine, or so I sincerely wish to you all. Any contribution coming from you is valuable, as always.With best regards.

I gave dema the ok to share with you the PSD so no worries all fine Just next time ask first for the formalities

BTW Italian and spanish will be done anyway at some point. But as i said in previous posts other priorities for BMS have most of my time. Im sure everybody will like my absence from other projects right now when they will be eventually able to see the reason i can promise you that. Eventually all projects and models will be finished and get the love they deserve

First of all, many thanks to the whole BMS development team for their hard work. Because the BMS simulator has come to this day with your voluntary efforts. You have always made a voluntary effort and shared this simulator with us without expecting anything in return.
I am not in this team. I’m a casual user and I don’t know the rules among you. I apologize to all of you if I made a mistake.
So far, I have made an effort to contribute to the development of BMS as much as I can and have shared it with you. I had no other purpose. For example, the default F-18C was such a process. And I was very happy to be able to contribute a little bit to the BMS development team on the default F-18C.
But to be frank, this time I was a little disappointed. Now I think I should just be a casual user in this simulator. From now on, the improvements I will make will remain with me alone. But I will always follow the BMS development team from afar. I will always appreciate the success of this team. I will always applaud this team.
Everything you get your heart desires. I wish you all success.
Best regards.
Burak.

@buraktunahan
You got it wrong.
Im not accusing you of anything and i appreciate the work you doing.
And of course BMS users can benefit from your works. I really do appriciate that you spend time on making the Typhoon looking even cooler than it is now.
When im saying i would like you to ask first is personal,its he way i work if i touch someone else’s work or whatever thats all!
If i was saying no or been negative about it u wouldnt get the PSD or i would told you to stop.
Please don’t let the language barrier and the “written speech” get in the way badly.
Continue to offer us your great works.
I surelly will, and i promise you that, will implement your work you did in the official PSD for the Typhoon cause you done a really good job.
Dont get dissapointed cause of a missunderstanding.
That wasn’t my intention. -
@buraktunahan your work is really appreciated and it’d be pity if your future forks won’t be available to rest of the community. I hope Manos1981 post will make you reconsider. But I’ll respect your decision, whatever it’ll be.
Sigh,
I hoped after all of the SP/FreeFalcon and later dramas community will try to prevent it from happening again.
I know I’m not in the position to tell anyone how he/sho works, but wouldn’t it be beneficial to Falcon/BMS if some more open policy would be adapted. Let’s say, there’s available for everyone skin template for each of the models in stock DB, with explicit permission to create own skins, but also with request of any changes to the template itself has to be contributed back, so original author/BMS team might include those changes in stock skin set.
If agreed (I know some artists don’t like this idea) same thing could be applied to the 3D models, with condition that any derivative works can be used only in BMS.
It at least should help with problem of necessity redoing whole 3D model when original author of current one left the team or is not available anymore.But again, that’s only my humble, irrelevant opinion.

fantastic project, please work on the flight model as well.
