Conversion from 4.36.3 to 4.37.0 for KTO was perfectly smooth with MC here.
-
Thx Falcas for the quick update for 4.37! MC is an essential tool for BMS!
-
I installed this latest version. Started it up and it defaulted fine to my 4.37 install but came up with error of Unable to create HDR. Have I done something wrong or is another update needed?
Thanks

Disregard this msg and continue.
-
Same warning.!
-
Ok thanks = will do.
-
Yep, just ignore for now.
Will come with an update soon. -

@Falcas Helooo, long time no hear, happy new year.
Confirming , missing HDR message.
Also, I can see many, many, new very nice things, eg… brigade supply, AD protect… - for sure whole bunch were busy last year. Maybe BMS will become “Sims” (for ai calcs) in near futureNow for the fun part… Essence of NO_PLAN(ning)… how to.
From what I’ve reckon, in ATM, this forbids squadron relocation, and ok… not biggie here.
But how does it work in reality for GTM context? - forbids AD units relocation/moving = stationery? - why it is important (orange box) …
Many Thanks.
(btw, for future endeavors, … I can’t see the way to remove supply/protect unit from brigade, … if there’s need… can be deleted tho… so, low pri/no fix)
-
Yeah very busy and a lot of things are happening.
About the NoPlan.
Basically this is not something to worry about. Mainly used by OffMap squadrons. And as soon as you add an OffMap Squadron the flags are set automatically.Supply and Protect battalions linked to Brigades.
Yes, still need to add a simple remove option.
For now, just go to the Battalion itself (double click it in the Brigade). Under “Advanced Options” set the CargoID to “0”. -
Hi, Theater selected in Falcon 4.37.0.322 always points to KoreaKTO, and seems it does not change even if I switch theaters…which causes I can not create TE_NEW.TAC for my theater. Can you repro?
EDIT: I find
Campaign->Theater
box can change where the tac file belongs to…EDIT: After I edit TE_NEW.TAC for my theater and re-open it, it says “Could not read Objective data your mission might be corrupted”, I’ve edited theater belonging and location theater size to 2048x2048 and removed all objectives.
This is the error log:

I guess you are talking about WDP and not MC?
-
@Falcas I’m using and talking about MC for te_new.tac edit. I need to edit it for my theater development.
-
Ok, understand what you mean.
Yes, in the te_new as well as all the saveX files you have to set what theater the file belongs to.
Assuming you are starting with a completely new theater, make sure you choose the name of the theater carefully… aka simple name.
Bad example would be “Asia battle ground”
All files and directories need to have this same nameThis name is linked with the theater definition file which contains all the directories used by this theater. If this is not set up correctly… it won’t work
-
@Falcas
thx for the advice!I’m preparing
Add-On Cope North
and theater name is# shown in the pick list name Cope North
So I wrote “Cope North” in MC.
