BMS UI position in SteamVR
-
When I launch BMS in VR mode, I find my view centered at the top of the UI rather than in the center. Is there an adjustment for this? Thank you!

@GhastlyTT just recenter steamVR view…
Otherwise not much more possible

thanks! And where don’t find this option? Haven’t seen any keybinding option in my steam VR settings.
Cheers

@NoPro I don’t know what device do you have but, usually it’s long pressing the menu button in your haptic controller.
-
@MaxWaldorf I also have the same issue - I can recentre and recentre and recentre and the BMS 2D ui is always a long way off centre, out of view. I can get it back in the centre briefly, but if I fly and return to 2D, it’s back off out of view again. This persists across reboots, no other steam vr or oculus apps are affected.
Very odd!

No issues with quest 2 on my side…

It’s centered if your perspective is sitting on the virtual ground, but steamVR always defaults my view (G2 Reverb) to a standing position based on where it detects my floor, and SteamVR’s home menus are also positioned for the default standing view. Just something to consider in the future. Thanks.

No amount of recentring was able to fix this.
But… resetting Oculus’ guardian did. Solved. Thanks.

Ok so Meta’s software seems to be fine. Anyone with WMR headsets share my experience or am I unique with this problem?
-
@GhastlyTT same for me with Reverb 2…

@GhastlyTT Only work around for me is to take the headset off in UI, and interact with screen directly. Actually to minimise fatigue might be better spending UI time with 2D screen.
Devs’ pls don’t change this ability to interact with UI on desktop its so useful. Can’t do it with another well know sim in VR

For me, it’s along the bottom of the screen. Also, it’s really hard to use as it is so small. It needs to make better use of the space. HP Reverb G2.
