Solved Gear problem on client in mp flights

@SkyF0x also what block of F-16 was it?
can you clarify what moment the dump files were recorded … (I assume you did this manually via TaskMgr or WinDbg?)
-
@SkyF0x hmm… does your wingman have analog toe brakes?
I think I’ve heard stories of bad things happening when not enough deadzone/saturation … ie. wheels catching on fire
just a random thought. if it’s not something silly like that… this may require capturing video to understand what’s happening.
-
@MaxWaldorf yes, i understand it hard to reproduce… It was KTO, Gunsan.
@airtex2019 F-16CM-50, yes dump files was captured manually after landing, and yes i think he use axis, i’ll ask him(but i don’t think problem here, it was formation take off and i don’t see he falling behind me until i raise gears).
-
@SkyF0x To be checked in -1
But once you have performed and ALT GEAR extension (means that you have/had an anomaly) IMHO, you are not supposed to retract it. You keep it down and land ANSA.(Of course, it doesn’t mean that there is no bug here and I am not saying that it must not be looked at is possible).
-
@Dee-Jay Yes if you have problems with extend gears and use ALT GEAR Handle you should land asap, which we did in that flight).
Also -1, says you can retract gear if press reset button on ALT GEAR handle if you have pressure in hyd B, and in fact which we do and gear raised, but HUD(maybe FLCS also) remain in TO/LDG mode.
Also question: if we make dump files at moment when problem occurs, will it help you?
-
No…
We need a way to reproduce the issue…
Taking a state doesn’t help since it is not a CTD.So better find a way to reproduce the issue and send the case + TE

@SkyF0x said in Gear problem on client in mp flights:
Looks like it absolutly random behaviour, but happens only on client side, on 4.36 my friend also have problems with gear(nose gear don’t extend), but i never have that problem over a 30+ sorties.
Just to understand correctly – is it just 1 person having this problem?
I have to suspect he’s just trashing the jet (maybe inadvertently, eg. with a noisy or nonzero’d toebrake axis).
Is there any reason to think this a bug or broken BMS code? (what is that reason? not clear to me)
-
@airtex2019 Yes, I only know one person with this problem personally, i think it’s bug because in 4.36 i seen reports about gear problems(problems with nose gear extension), and i thought that bug still not fixed, maybe it my bad

The bug is fixed
Check brake analog axis assignment

@Mav-jp Yes, looks like it was problem with axis, for last 10 flights there no problems. Sorry for false report
