BMS 4.36 Sigonella AI airplanes disappearing

ok no support on BMS 4.36 ( old stuff!! after few months), but it’s not normal to release a product that still has bugs abandon it and pass a new one… it’s like saying: I release this car even if the brakes don’t work because I’m making a new one that will have probably the same defect. When one takes a product normally for a few years gets assistance isn’t it? -

As to your analogy; this is a game, not a car - very unlikely to die if the brakes fail on your Viper. Also, Falcon BMS is free, why should the devs maintain/support an old version?

S0LVED!!! Runway list type must be Max height, Max width, Max lenght 10000.000. They were 0.000. Tomorrow i’ll check all the airbases. Solved!!! -

as said before it’s not a new product and it still has old little bugs. example : no brakes but i know the viper i’m playing it from 2001.

Yes, you’re right. Every point which I’ve seen have this 10000 in max(W/H/L) .
So … No. unfortunately my problem and yours were different… but same/similar outcome -> disappearing planes.
Carriers don’t have taxi-ways , but this mess of points is just logical “pathway” … so, lot of work, but not trouble.
Anyway, see any other base which is working then spot the difference.Sigonella is complicated base , 2 strips, crossing runway, But, you did well!!! Find the culprit.

–btw… @cougar56th , I’ve checked 4.37.1 Sigonella , same stuff what @GARDINI above said is present … I’ll try it later … might want to correct this IF broken … runway 28L/10L - runwaylisttype - have all points max(w/h/l) = 0 and not 10000 , which all other points have

short:
Done checking Sigonella, Forli, Rivolto airbases.
For every base above, haven’t seen any AI planes disappearing… - AI simply went to parking space - in all 3 cases … I didn’t saw nothing wrong - In my test.

In 4.37.1 , even, yes, in objective-editor, really some PointData points are missing that “10000” values in data… , whereas all other points have this vale(s) - in other airbases…
It looks that did not affect AI planes. - don’t know.
(I’m not even sure what should that value represent exactly, just spotting the diff between the two)Cheers

For ArmyBases - increase heli-ports to 4 - in every type of armybase (in Balkans) you only have 2 heliports - but that’s not enough for creating 4-ship flight of heli squadron … dig me?–airports are ok, there are more heliports then needed…

Only Sigonella was wrong in Balkans 4.36. Now all is ok. I don’t know why in Rivolto one AI plane in a TE mission disappeared in a small parking point. I’ll chek again and i let you know. ciao -

If it was end of the mission, park and shutdown, then it is normal for AI to disappear after some time… 1-2 minIt is not normal, however, if they disappear still on the runway… after touchdown. - they should go to the park and then disappear

@cougar56th Another problem: To Birgi/Trapani Italian ( big) air base.
Planes ( for example 2 F16s) don’t take off from runways 32L and 14R. To solve the problem i put the Dim Point 0 very large from 1 and the same 2 from 3. Planes now taking off but at the borders of the runway, not realistic. -

In Runway List Type Heading inverted 320 vs 140. please check. I’m speaking about Balkans bms 4.36. I don’t know for BMs 4.37 Balkans but check.
